Awesome experience!

Wonderful food,atmosphere and sevice!!!! A variety of foods to please everyone. A great place to gather with friends and family. Private rooms for special occasions or whatever the event,even a play area for the kids! Not to mention live music on the weekends with the best margaritas in town!

Amazing Food and Service!!!!!

I have worked in a resturaunt since I have been able to stand on my own two feet. From working with my family in their returaunt in Houston to going off on my own and working in New York city resturaunts for 3 years now, i have never had better service or as good quality food as i did when i visited the scenic loop cafe.

My Girlfriend had decided to take me there one day saying it was amazing but i was skeptical. The resturaunt staff BLEW ME OUT OF THE WATER! It was a packed Friday night when i went and the server still made me feel as though my girlfriend and i were the most important people in the entire resturaunt. She told us what foods were amazing and what drinks were out of this world. thinking that that was the best it could get, the food came out. there hamburgers are amazing and my Girlfriend raved about their chicken enchiladas.

i know how hard it is to focus on your customers when the resturaunt gets incredibly busy but these servers know what their doing. the chefs in that kitchen have been blessed with amazing cooking ability too. i advise you to make your way down here as soon as you possibly can. the food and drinks will be worth the trip even if your coming from alaska. plus the server make you feel right at home, treating you with the upmost respect and taking care of you every step of the way.

The next time you are in San Antonio come visit the Scenic Loop Cafe. IT WAS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great Experience at Scenic Loop!

A friend had recommended Scenic Loop to me as a great way to hold events after having his work conference there. I had an up and coming event (a dermatologist party) and decided to act on his advice. The private party room upstairs was very spacious and well worth the price. The food was great and the view could not be beat. The servers, Liz and Chelsea I believe, were very friendly and I could tell they enoy what they do. All around, Scenic Loop Cafe is a great place to hold an event or to just have a great steak!

Have never had a better CFS in my LIFE

So I wake up in the morning expecting to live a normal day and experience my life in a normal kind of way, but I wasn't prepared for the meal I was about to have.

I don't wanna be dramatic, but I NEED to be dramatic to describe how this restaurant was. First off I drove in from the city and was not expecting to find a secluded country feeling restaurant so close to the city. I loved the feeling of being away from the busy roads and highways; I could hear myself think and I could hear my wife speak. Being in the city you don't realize how nice a quiet restaurant can make you feel. But enough about the restaurant's location.

I am very particular about my Chicken fried steaks (CFS) and I usually leave a restaurant bored with the effort their chef has given. Instead of being bored, I was excited; Instead of wanting less I wanted MORE.

The chicken fried steak at SLC is Humongous for starters. Size is great, but nobody eats something simply for size. The flavor of this steak evoked a euphoric enjoyment on my tongue, and to be honest, completely honest, I have never had a CFS that tasted this good. They give you the choice of brown and white gravy and I'm a brown gravy man, and when I drizzled it on the steak, the flavors came together perfectly. The complexity of the taste was somehow a new CFS flavor that I haven't experienced in some time. Not since my Grandfather used to make them have I tasted something so satisfying. Scenic Loop Cafe truly has perfected the art of the Restaurant World.

The CFS was enough to win my loyalty, but the service their was just as amazing. I can't write this review without commenting on the speed and cursory attention to detail that the staff of SLC gives to their customers. I have worked at a restaurant before, and we never were taught to be as thoughtful and courteous as the staff at SLC. They treat you like a gentleman or lady should. They give you a feeling of security and they seem to genuinely care about you. I never got the feeling that my Waitress was just SERVING me, you know? I started to feel like she was being a FRIEND to me. The waitress was Looking out for me and she even helped my nephew pick out a new dish. (He's a little picky like his uncle).

All in All, I have a wonderful time experiencing SLC, and I will be back many many times in the Future. I would STRONGLY encourage ANYONE to go to SC

ENIC LOOP CAFE. SLC is a great evening get-away for people who love a calm atmosphere and a relaxing dinner. And of course a great CFS.

*also it's not a bad place to take your lady (I'm talking to you GUYS).

Best Place EVER!!!

Went in on a Friday night with a bunch of friends to listen to the band. we walked in with a large group and the hostess got us seated right away. we had so much fun listening to the music, the food was amazing and the servers were fun and very helpful. i would recomend it to everyone who vistits san antonio. its a good way to exsperience the hill countrys beauty.
