EXPENSIVE BUT ENJOYABLE ANTIQUES EXPERIENCE. i had a chance to visit napoleon antiques last month while in sa on business [from mccallen]. it's a well stocked antiques shop, but perhaps a bit highbrow and formula driven for what i am used to in san antonio (they sell only container goods which basically offer a somewhat predictable look). the prices are also very steep (think dallas or houston here folks). but, the good news is that napoleons does offer some simply stunning views...fantastic lighting, monumental furnishings and interesteing accessories. so, while the value and scope of the offerings may be intimidating, the place deserves your attention. the staff is also quite friendly and accomodating.
