I love this place! The food is awesome - eat the bulgolgi, kim bab and chop jae - great taste very authentic. You may not feel overly welcome but who the hell cares when you are at a counter deli! If the staff sees you coming in more than a few times they actually may smile at you and throw in something for free. I am married to an Asian man and we regularly get dirty looks our way in other Korean restaurants for being a mixed couple - say Hoban, Shilla and a few others - here not so much. They just want to collect their money and serve good food. Not a bad trade off if you ask me.
Pros: Awesome food, Authentic and well priced
Cons: counter service, staff can be rather rude sort of like the soup Hitler (cannot use word)

It is a great place to go for a new experience. You get a taste of what real Korean food is like at a cheap price-- probably the best Korean food around town. It's a convenient way to eat without tipping. Friendly service and great variety in the restaurant AND in the grocery store. They have Chinese and Japanese products, too. I love this place. I come here every weekend, but it can get really busy on Sundays. You should give it a try!
