awesome school

quality care! my children have attended this center for years and we love it! They are wonderful caring staff. The director does a great job and is always available. My children have learned so much and the turn over is very very little. As for the former employee with the bad review, you are a LIAR. Monica and her staff, which have been there for many years, are ALL HONEST and CARING!

Sucky Owner

I'm a past employee too. The ONLY reason I would consider taking my child there is because of the teachers. Monica Titerle, the owner, is a terrible director. She's mean to her employees, and very sneaky. She bends the truth and lies about everthing else. She makes her employees lie to the parents. The only thing we were allowed to tell the parents, was that their child or children, had a wonderful day. Even if that child was having a rough day and was hurt by another child, we had to lie and make it seem like it was that childs fault. The only thing that woman does right is, she hires good, loving women to teach these children. Unfortunately, no one stays around long because of the way Monica does her employees.

Great for kids

It was a joy to have my two kids enrolled at Shady Oaks. The large play area in the back includes a rabbit and chicken containment so that the kids can safely observe the animals. The teachers always have a variety of crafts and projects for the kids. My son was well prepared for kinder when he left and my girl will be too. It is relaxing because it used to be a home and has spacious classrooms and many windows to a well landscaped outside. There is structure but it isn't overwhelming. I was always contacted immediately if there was a concern about my children. Unfortunately, not many teachers stay long, but they must all be screened well because I haven't found one I disliked.

not safe for all kids

I have to agree with tad bit shady. as a former employee. i saw a lot of favoritism in the way children were cared for. 2 of the children I cared for were very sweet. their mama had a habit of poppling in just to watch them play without the kids knowing she was there. the director and owner did not like this at all and they were very ugly to those kids when they didnt think anyone was watching. when I went up against them about the favoritism, my hours got cut, i was taken out of the infant room and put with the 2's and i quit because they made my job so miserable. its sad that they would discriminate against a child who is well loved by his family. that is a blessing for the child and should be celebrated. I wuold never reccommend them to anyone for daycare.

Great care for kids!

I have had my 2 children at Shady Oaks for almost 2 years and have found them to be wonderful! They take great care of my children and I completely trust them. They have always called me and let me know when something is wrong with the girls and they care very much for their well-being. I highly recommend them as a parent of 2 children that go every day!
