It's been two years since my husband graduated tech school. His favorite food is sushi so I really wanted to take him out to eat somewhere perfect. After a quick google search I found Sushihana, and WERE WE PLEASED!! The food was amazing, and the atmosphere was so relaxed. After being around a bunch of military trainers, we really wanted to find a place to just get away. We got lost in such a zen-like happy place together. The food was great, the prices were great (though at the end of our meal we found out a very nice family paid for our meal) and the atmosphere just was perfect. I couldn't think of a better place to have sushi. We will be coming back in April for my graduation 100%!! 5 stars Sushihana. What a hidden treasure!

Hidden Gem. This hidden gem is located in Castle Hills, which happens to be close to our office, so we decided to give it a try. We were so surprised - inside was very zen like and calming and the staff greeted us right away. Normal lunch prices for extraordinary food! Loved the orange miso seabass and crab cakes. The scallops were perfect. Don't miss this place!!

Re: Run don't walk to Sushihana. I am sure you have driven by this place many times. STOP in next time for the best dining experience of your life. Amazing wine list as well as sake. Sushi is beyond belief as well as the major dining menu. The service is always helpful and happy to suggest or answer any question.

You have to try the nightly specials or at least the Sweet and Spicy Chicken Lollipops. You must have space in your full belly to try the Creme Brule'.

Wonderful outside patio for after dinner drinks as well as pet friendly area. They also have a great party room for special occasions

A Continuous Dining Experience. My wife and I have dined at this restaurant now for going on 2 years. In this time we have never been disappointed with either the food, service or ambiance. The staff and owner a always extremely attentive and full of great suggestions. Recently we decided to celebrate my wife's birthday there and left the entire menu in the hands of the chef. I can only say it was a culinary experience that happens very rarely and I have travelled the world (4 years in Asia and 27 years in Europe). I would like to again extend our appreciation of a job well done. I would rate this restaurant on a par with Alan Wong in Honolulu, Hawaii or Tantris and Aubergine in Munich, Germany.

Our choice for weekly business lunch. My personal favorite is the sea bass, cooked to perfection. They also cook my snowpeas a little longer to my liking. The service is always good and the waitstaff knows our special requests . I love the special touch of communication through emails announcing events, specials and occassional discounts. I recommend getting on their email list. You won't be disappointed!

Great Wine List. Sushihana is one of my all time favorite places. The decor is very inviting and the staff is very attentive. The food is wonderful, and there is a large variety of items other than sushi. Even though I am a sushi lover, I am often tempted to order the other items. I have not had a bad meal here yet! The other wonderful thing about sushihana is their wine list. The owner has a passion for wine and it shows in his selection. The mark-up on the wine if also very reasonable. When I look for a place to eat I like to have good food and a good wine list to complement it; Sushihana has both!

Japanese. This place is really pretty with Japanese decorations everywhere. The staff are really nice and they give good recommendation. The menu was very long and take me quite a while to finish reading it. I am from Seattle but I grew up in an Asian family. I have tried a lot of 'Pork Katsu Don' everywhere in the world. The pork that they used was very thin and it was tough and hard. The rice in the rice bowl was not fully cooked. The sashimi appetizer that I ordered only have 2 tuna, 2 salmon and 3 white tuna for ~$10. The sashimi was pretty fresh but the white tuna was still frozen in the middle when it served. I can say that sushihana salad was really good, but you might want to have the dressing on the side. Overall, I like the service, but the food... well, I might didn't pick the right food to order.

Small Handrolls. When I walked into Sushihana I had to say I really liked the atmosphere. They had a nice decor and were very clean. My group decided to order out instead of staying, but I wouldn?t have minded it if we would have stayed. I had the opportunity to talk to the manager little bit about the restaurant and how the sushi was shipped fresh not frozen. I was excited to try what this place had to offer. We ended up ordering a few of their specialty Maki rolls, the Toro, and my personal favorite spicy scallop hand rolls. I felt as if I ordered a lot of food, but somehow everything I had ordered fit in one small tray. That should have been a good indicator as to what to expect. When we opened up the tray we noticed the portions were really small. Specifically, my favorite, the spicy scallop seemed a bit puny. The Toro was alright, expensive, but that is to be expected. I do have to commend them on the originality of their Maki rolls. All in all, I would have to say I was a bit disappointed. Mostly due to the bite size hand rolls we were served. The flavors were ok, but nothing that I could say that really impressed me. Try it for the ambience and different selection of Maki rolls. Just don?t expect to be blown out of the water

Wide selection, great ambiance, yummy sushi. We come here probably once a month, and it never disappoints. We usually go when it's not too busy, because otherwise there will be a wait. The ambience is great, very mellow. The calamari appetizer is not to be missed, not a chewy bite in the bunch - the calamari practically melt in your mouth. My other favorites are tuna sashimi, the Crazy roll and the Rainbow roll. Our favorite sushi place in town.
