The Family that Trains Together, Stays Together. After taking 20 yrs off from karate, I was looking for a place for my family to train together ... The Karate Dojo is the place. To address "pissed off parent," I can't disagree more. The Karate Dojo is unparalleled. Last year, 3 national champions were from this dojo. The Headmaster, Hanshi Wright, is a 9th degree black belt; the opportunity to learn for him is exceptional. The sensei's are patient and kind, yet firm. The Karate Dojo may not be the cheapest dojo in town, but you get what you pay for, i.e., quality. It is family friendly and character focused.

Starting over in karate as an adult can be humbling, but I have never felt judged, "less than," or treated like a child. The sensei's are young (the main instructors are all older than 18, some assistant instructors are under 18) but youth is not a problem, it is an asset. They are motivated, well trained and well suited to teach my family. We have been training here for 2 yrs now, and could not be more pleased. Although traditional, the training is relevant to self defense, fitness, and personal development.

If you want a place for you or your children to learn true karate, this is the place!!!

Pissed off Parent!!!. My daughter went to Karate Dojo's summer camp which was over $1500.00 for a lousy babysitting job that did not cover school curriculum as promised. The camp did not teach my daughter karate, they had kids watching kid. One older kid took my daughter into the closet and spanked her WHERE WERE THE ADULTS?? Do not waste your money at this establishment, you would be better off at the YMCA.…
