Not the greatest choice.... find a room elsewhere!.
This area was a last resort pick during our recent trip to San Antonio. The hotel lobby was decent; however, upon entering the courtyard, the somewhat good impression I had of the place drastically changed. The building and premises looked sad, run-down, and univiting. My room smelled stale and old, the rugs felt dirty, and there was a grimy hairball stuck in the bathtub drain. In the morning, i could hear the next door neighbors.... ESPECIALLY their children. The walls were so thin! So early in the morning, I was awakened by children singing (very badly, i have to add) to some show going on on their tv. I wasn't in the best mood.
Also, there was also a game room and vending area in the hotel lobby. It's great that there was entertainment provided for those staying at the hotel, but there were holes knocked into the wall near a pool table... very shabby looking!
Not a good place to stay, the price isn't drastically low... you can find a much better place for almost the same price. Avoid this place!
bEST IN TOWN. THIS is the best hotel, I would tell any one who is coming to San Antonio to stay here . The rooms were very clean. the staff very helpful and so friendly.our water pump went out on our car the day we got there, the hotel booked a tour package for us .It was great and then the manager Greg told my husband about the bus that runs right beside the hotel, to go down town to the alamo & every thing we wanted to see. It inclued the trolly rides.told us the places to eat,Went to Denny's the people there were great &food also.We went to Burger King & the manager there was VERY RUDE when my daughter asked for curly fries. other then that our trip was really great & plan on going back,& staying here. thanks every one for a great stay. the Major family
