Average Services. The week of my daughters wedding we went for a massage and pedicure. The hostess that greats you has an unfriendly personality. I was there for a special time with my daughter so I ignored her. The rest of the staff was very nice, but the ginger pedicure was disappointing The polish had rubbed off by the next day and the way my toenails were trimmed I have a cut on my foot. $60 is a lot for a very average pedicure. The facility is lovely and quiet. Over priced and have had much better massages for half the price.…
Mellow Massage. Wonderful way to relax - massage is always perfect!
The Woodhouse Day Spa.
I would recommend The Woodhouse Day Spa to anyone who wanted an experience of a lifetime. I love this place.
The Woodhouse Day Spa is very clean. The personnel who work there are very professional. They are there to pamper you as soon as you walk through the door, they know how to make you feel at home. It is a very comfortable enviroment.
I visited the Woodhouse for the first time in November, since them I have been back twice. I had a Swedish Massage from Adam, he was very attentive to your needs and when he completes your massage you are totally relaxed. It was the most relaxing massage I have ever had and I have had a few.
I purchased a Swedish Massage through Groupon in June 2010, I hesitated to schedule an appointment. I finally decided to schedule the appointment before it expired in November 2010. If I had it to do over I would have scheduled the appointment in June and a couple more each month after June. Since my First massage at the Woodhouse Day Spa in November, I scheduled two in December and I plan to visit each month of the following year.…
The Woodhouse Day Spa at the Quarry.
I received a gift certificate for this spa and when I called to verify what exact services I would receive - both times I called I never received a clear answer. That confusion carried through to my
appt. as well. I was scheduled to receive the swedish massage - 50 minutes at $90.00....the guy asked if I wanted soft touch or hard touch....well, of course, I answered "hard touch". That will be an extra charge, he answered. Never once is that stated in their Menu of Services. I was also scheduled to get a pedicure - at 45 minutes. Their menu states to arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appt. time. I did. My appt. time was at 5:00 pm. I was not taken out of the sitting room until almost 5:10pm (LATE). My massage did not start until 5:15 and ended about 5:46. I did not get the full 50 minutes (the guy yawned 3 times). With the high prices - I would expect the full 50 minutes. When I was then picked up by the manicurist - she thought I was there for a manicure. No, I explained a pedicure. for $60.00 I would have thought perfection. My big toe nail was cut crooked. So of course, at the end of my journey - they came to me to collect. I was over my gift certificate. This was a gift certificate purchased for me. I can not understand why they did not know what was to be performed and stuck to that. The front desk people were confused and not nice from the time I called in to schedule to the actual day of my appointment. No one seemed to know what I was there fore and again, of course, they made it convenient for them to go over my already paid for gift certificate - so they could collect more money from me. They asked discreetly for what percent I was going to give as a tip!!
When I called in the next day to confirm exactly what I received and what I paid for, Brittany could not answer my questions and passed the phone to Lisa who also could not answer my questions. SO WHO POCKET MY MONEY!!…
What an amazing spa!!. Let me just say that I have been to a lot of spas in town and this is by far the best! EVERYONE from the staff upfront to the staff (who are always nice ) who perform the services. Everyone is always willing to help you, no matter what. I would be shocked if someone didnt like this spa.…
