Awesome!! Great Spa. I had such a great experience at The Woodhouse Day Spa. I had a manicure and pedicure and it was awesome. I would recommend Woodhouse to anybody. I am getting a gift card for my friends for Christmas!

From a guy's perspective. My wife purchased a full package for me as a birthday present - massage, facial, manicure, pedicure. I have to admit, the "girly" aspect had me on edge at first. In a nutshell, I worried for nothing. The staff was extremely friendly - not at all "snooty". The facilities are nice but that wasn't a factor one way or the other.

The massage was FANTASTIC from the beginning when they wrapped my feet and ankles in warm moist towels. The manicure was equally great. I'd never experienced the parafin dip before but it was such a great feeling on my hands and wrists that tend to ache a lot. The warmth was very tolerable and felt great.

My experience with the facial was not at all what I expected. Whether it was from the smell of chemicals in the room or something else, I had difficulty breathing from the beginning. The warm steam/mist blowing into my face only made it worse...felt myself quickly becoming claustraphobic (sp?) I'd much prefer a hot towel in the barbers chair to this...not something I'd recommend or repeat.

All in all, the staff was very accomodating and friendly without being "chatty". I was surprised to find myself becoming "antsy" after a couple hours there with nothing to do but be waited on, but it was still the best birthday present I've ever gotten. Amanda (for the massage) and Sarah (for the manicure) were the best.

Let me totally quiet or could carry on a pleasant conversation. Very attentive!

Overall I'd go back in a heartbeat!

Beautiful spa with pretty good services. I got a volcanic rock massage and the Essential Cleansing Facial. The facility is beautiful -- soothing decor, quiet rooms, and luxurious robes and linens. My massage was very relaxing, although not the best I have ever had. The facial was also good, but not the best. Minimal extractions, and more of just a facial massage. Very pleasant, but I didn't feel my skin was truly improved. I would go back, but would be more specific with my requests next time. Also, use the Citysearch coupon! It worked and was a great deal!

Extravagant Decor, Acommodating Staff and Excellent Choice of Services!!!!. I recently visited the Woodhouse Day Spa with my mother for a girls day at the spa. My expectations were far exceeded from beginning to end. The front desk staff was very helpful and resourceful. The massage therapist knew exactly what pressure to place us in a state of complete relaxation. I recommend this spa to anyone who wants to be pampered!

Avoid on friday and saturday. This spa is without a doubt, very beautiful.Great location and smells fantastic! On the other hand, the services are ?average? and overpriced. There are no amenities (whirlpool, sauna) to make use of before or after a service. There are only lockers (inside the rest room), one shower, and two (small) waiting rooms where depending on which employee seats you, might forget to ask you for something to drink. Once your done with the service if you ?prebook? with the same person-more than likely that employee wont ?continue to work with us any longer? as well as the unfriendly front desk that at times place you on hold for too long?.My husband/ friends have all been visiting this spa for about a year and this is a major discrepancy that all of us noticed. However it?s only our opinion. We no longer visit this spa but maybe you should try it for your self

Most beautiful spa in San Antonio! My sister in law and I had a perfect day!. My brother gave his wife and I gift cards for Christmas and we both enjoyed "A Day at the Woodhouse". The massage was great, the therapist was very polite and delivered exactly what I needed, but the facial could not be beat. I have had massages before, but this was my first facial and I will definitely be back for more. The facial was called Minkiti (sp) and it was an hour and a half of pure heaven! I will definitely be back! The customer service was extremely gracious, the spa was beautiful and it's an experience I wll not soon forget. I hope my brother gives me another "Day at the Woodhouse" for Christmas this year... hint, hint!

Fabulous Five-Star Spa!. My day at the Woodhouse Spa was absolutely wonderful! From the elegant and warm decor to the professional and friendly service, my experience was nothing less than perfect! I have visited many spas throughout the country, and am confident that this spa is among the very best!. The wide-array of services are reasonably-priced and beyond relaxing. This spa is the perfect place for an individual to visit or a girls' getaway. I was extremely impressed and pleased with the massage, facial, and pedicure that I received, as well as the extensive skin care products which were available for purchase directly from the spa. I would not hesitate to recommend the Woodhouse Spa to anyone who is looking to be truly pampered in a beautiful, classy environment. I just purchased Woodhouse gift certificates as Christmas gifts for my children's teachers....I know they, too, will have an amazing experience!

Elegant & best spa services in the country. I was in San Antonio for my 40th with friends and we spent the day at the Woodhouse Spa. What an incredible experience. The staff were overwhelmingly friendly, the service before, during and after the treatments was excellent and the therapists were absolutely top notch! The services are unique and very reasonably priced. And the spa itself is unbelievable! It creates the perfect relaxing environment. I have been to a lot of spas throughout the country and this one is by far the most beautiful. This is a 5 star absolutely most see!!!

Too snooty. I thought this spa was beautiful to look at but felt uncomfortable with how snooty and unfriendly everyone seemed. Don't get me wrong, the massage was good, but I personally just felt uncomfortable and should have selected a spa where people were a bit friendlier.
