I do not recommend Lisa as a hair stylist. I went to the studio seeking a color and styling change. Color turned out okay but left with only a very slight trim and my hair lout looks like it did before I went in. Definitely not worth the money.

Hair extensions have been a dream of mine for several months and as a Holiday gift my husband treated me to full set of extensions. The experience and results were incredible. I have to say that if I would have known how much difference it makes in my appearance, I would have done this earlier. Since I have thin hair, adding the extensions gave me the ability to get a style that otherwise would have been impossible. My husband loves them!

I would like to say Thanks to the staff at Hair Studio Sonterra, Thanks to Jen, Mischa N The owner of the Salon for everything..After a bad hair color gone wrong. They didnt charge me at all n the owner gave me some wonderful gifts. That is what I call Perfect serviece.. Im glad I went back yall are truely a blessing... I love the new highlights n color.. The best thing is my husband is totally loving it.. He said to tell yall Thank you very much.. Love yall guys yall are awesome in everyway, thanks for all. See ya soon...

Aug. 2: The salon was gracious enough to call after reading my bad review of their stylist, Lisa. Stylist Elsa spoke with me for the salon and apologized for my experience, believing it to be unusual for Lisa. The salon was very nice and offered me a complimentary color as an apology. This is very sweet and quality customer service. I said I'd think about it but I will say the Salon itself is worth trying, as is Elsa, for hair, eyelashes or make-up. But I cannot undo my wedding-weekend experience with Lisa. People who provide services need to remember that it's easier - and more profitable - to do it right the first time than try to undo a bad piece of work well after the fact. Try the salon's recommended services and you'll be happy.

Color Professionals....they know color!. Where do I start... I was fortunate enough that the receptionist that answered the phone that morning told me that Yvonne could see me. I called because I had a horrible experience with a stylist that colored/highlighted my hair on Saturday. No need to go into all of that. The important thing is that Yvonne effortlessly brought my hair back to its natural tone and color, and made it look better than it has in a long time! I felt so comfortable from the moment I walked into the salon. I had a great time and cannot wait for my next appointment.. I received quite a few compliments at the office this week and am so happy knowing that I don't have to worry about finding a great stylist anymore. I really can't rave enough!

Best "Ombre" Highlights by Patricia. Greetings. Let me begin by saying "WOW!" I can't begin to tell you how much I love my Ombre highlights by Patricia. Before I booked my appointment, I knew that I wanted Ombre highlights, but had read the horror stories about hairstylist who say they know how to create this style and they come out looking a hot mess. Well, after careful research, I found Hair Studio Sonterra. From the moment I walked in the door, everyone was very friendly and offered me something to drink and wanted to make sure that I was comfortable. Patricia was, needless to say, AWESOME. For those of you who are thinking about getting Ombre highlights, it's a very long process, especially if you have long, thick hair like myself. Anyhow, she was very patient with me throughout the whole process. Bonus... they even sent me home with a free candle! Thanks again! You definitely have a life-long customer.

My color and cut are perfect... Thank you. Today I went in for a hair cut and I was THINKING about coloring it. I have never had my hair colored before so I was very nervous. I spoke with Mary about it and she was amazing, we talked about whether I should color my hair completely or just do highlights. She brought out all of the colors that she thought would look good on me. We finally decided and then we moved onto the cut. I explained to her what I was looking for and she did exactly that. It took her about 2 hours, because I have so much hair, but she was extremely nice the WHOLE time! When it was all done I had highlights for the first time and nice layered hair cut. I LOVE it! This was the first time that I sat in a stylist's chair and smiled the whole time! I can't wait to see her again!

Not impressed. I've been to this salon before and was happy with the service I received from Lauren. This time, I was very dissatisfied with the service I received from Melissa.

I called to set up an appointment with Lauren but was offered one with Melissa, whom I hav read positive reviews of, so I took it. I came in for color and a simple cut. Melissa sat with me and asked what I was looking for then said very little after that. I pretty much sat quietly in my chair the entir time. However, she was nice enough to offer me the weekday special that I asked about when I called even though she never really offers it because she's a master stylist. The "deal" was only $20 off what she normally charges.

After a very dull and rather boring experience, I came out with a color that was just fine. The cut was shorter than I wanted, and the way she styled it was horrible. Literally, I was embarrassed to walk out of there. Melissa told me not to wash it for two days but I had no choice but to wash it as soon as I got home and re-style it myself. I felt like it was such a waste of $200. I thought I found a trust-worthy salon but now i am too nervous to ever go back. :(

Update: I must acknowledge how nice the salon was in acknowledging my dissatisfaction upon reading my review. I think they handled this situation with respect and integrity. It made me believe they deserve another chance.

Elsa's the Best!. I recently had an obligation suddenly arise at which I needed to look good. Although it was her day off, Elsa came to the salon and spent hours doing my eyelashes, coloring my hair and giving me a new style. It made such a difference in the meeting the next day. Even the opposition told me that I looked great, and I am convinced that the extra bit of confidence that my appearance gave me allowed me to perform better and gain an advantageous over the other party. I cannot thank Elsa enough, and appreciate that she would forgo her own time off to help a client. She is simply the best!

Love the freindly service & wonderful products. I have had three haircuts here and will not go anywhere else. The entire staff is friendly, accomodating and extremely talented. Each time I have been, a different person has cut my hair, and each time without fail, they did a stellar job. The products they use are wonderful as well......LOVE the Keratase hair products!!!
