Pricey,small portions. Seems like Emmy is always trying cut corners, and it shows in the pricing and amount of food you get. I live nearby, so it's good and quick but it's not my first choice for Mexican.

my local once a week. I eat here about once a week. A stones throw from my house, my wife and I love to come here for food and drinks which are reasonably priced and well prepared. Service is always great and personal. Freshly redecorated and improved lighting makes it more intimate for an evening dinner, although we often go for a leisurely Sunday breakfast as well. Definitely worth a try.

Must go!. Emmy's is my favorite hole in the wall mexican food places in all of san antonio. I found out about it when I first moved to SA, when I lived on campus at UTSA. The prices are outstanding. Their migas are OUT of this WORLD! Just like abuelita makes 'em! I'm just so impressed with the place, I bring my friends there anytime they visit me from out of town. They ALWAYS love it. For a while, they must have changed management or something, and they had horrible hours. But I think that's fixed now. The ladies that work there are so hard-working, and provide awesome service. Anyway, Breakfast until 2pm is hard to find these days. The lunch and dinner portions are always great as well. I've been there bi-monthly, for three years now and have, as of yet, never had to wait. I strongly suggest this for any other hole in the wall gem junkies like myself.
