Dreadful service

We checked in an left for a wedding, It was midnight when we returned to find we had no light in the entrance of our room, every time the AC came on there was a loud rattling, we had one face towel and one hand towel and 3 bath towels for 2 persons. We could not sleep with the ratting of the AC. We also had the AC vents directly over the head of the bed blowing straight down on us. The next day at checkout I asked for a possible reduction in our bill of $144.00 for one night and it was refused. The girl at the desk called the manager ,at my request, and she informed us that they had someone on staff that could have helped us even thought it was in the middle of the night when we discovered the trouble and that NO there would not be an adjustment in the price nor did she say she was sorry we were inconvenienced. She did not even come out to discuss the problem just left it up to the desk clerk. We should have been informed when we checked in that if we needed anything they could provide help at any hour. The boy at the desk upon arrival was cold, the girl at the desk at our departure was indifferent. Not a place I wish to stay again.

Best Facial Spa in Every Way

L-O-V-E-D it !L-O-V-E-D it! L-O-V-E-D it! I have gotten facial treatments there and they're absolutely wonderful. In no way is it a second class spa because it is in a little town. The previous spas I have visited were Aveda spas in Austin and other big cities. Hotel Alcase spa facilities (especially the service) is better than my previous spa experiences. The atmosphere and facilities are immaculate. They have the most up-to-date products, machines, and knowledge of the facial regiments and how to take care of yourself after wards.

Plus, if you go there more than once for facial treatments, Jana, the owner who performs the facials, honestly remembers who you are and your individual needs that are necessary. I've always had ban skin, through years of dermatologist treatments and intense medication, and after having several sessions with Jana,she helped my troubled skin more than any of my previous treatments. Her advice and treatment make good skin a reality. I am so happy to find this "prize of a spa" in Castroville.

Unlike big, corporate spas, here, in this 5 star spa, you are a name, a face, and a concern.

MEN-SEND the SPECIAL LADIES in you life to the spa-my father bought my mother a gift certificate to use as she see fit, and my mother came out both looking and feeling beautiful and revived, which meant that the whole household was happy, so. While all the service is above par (which might make it more pricey in Castroville standards), if a man gives his woman this gift card, she will be forever thankful and could possible make your home a happier place. Hey, it worked in my family.

Last thing I love so much about the spa is that they sell a specific line of products. However, they do not push the clients to buy the products. So, all in all, it is a very beneficial, stress free environment with great results without the added sales pressure. I cannot say enough good things about the spa.

Fantastic

During the holiday's, I received a gift certificate to the Hotel Alsace Spa. My previous spa experiences have not been very enjoyable. But, my experience at the Hotel Alsace Spa was fantastic. They were extremely accommodating allowing me to choose a different service than originally selected. They didn't pressure me to buy additional services but showed me the differences without making me feel dumb. My massage was absolutely FANTASTIC. It felt much longer than 30 minuets and I emerged a different woman. Then I visited their espresso bar and sat outside basking in the sun enjoying the stunning view of miles and miles of Texas hills. The landscaping is great. The customer service is fantastic. Their attention to detail is obvious in every aspect of the hotel and spa. They also offered to put together a very customized spa package with specialty items I requested. All at a reasonable and affordable price! I plan on becoming a regular customer! I highly recommend visiting The Hotel Alsace and Spa in Castroville Texas!
