Embarrassed for them

by Roryb at Citysearch

I wish owners would stop writing5 star reviews for their own businesses. Maybe my visit was a fluke. But this place is out of everything. Why have a menu then? The staff is not very professional. They tried to be but it's like some random people decided to start a restaurant. Long wait for food and indifferent staff is not a good combination. Cute stuff in the antiques area made the experience ok.

New Braunfels best food and atmosphere!

by bigboy6666 at Citysearch

Red Rooster is the best breakfast and lunch restaurant in New Braunfels, it is a very busy and seemingly very popular place with a huge menu from peanut butter and chocolate chip pancakes to omelettes and crabcakes, shrimp, awesome burgers, and much more, they even have a patio for dining, excellent 40's music and antiques..Very cool place! We are so glad we found you, We will be customers for life!

  • Pros: Great food and a very cool place!

Rude staff

by sillylilian at Citysearch

I asked what would be the best price on a table and chair and they said, whats the price on it? I told them. They said, thats the best price. How rude! I guess that I interrupted the dealer behind the counter who was talking with another person behind that counter and that was all it took to get a snip response. This was pretty par for the course in New Braunfels on my shoppign experience. I don't think I will day trip it again to this city.

P.S. That first review is written by the owner from the looks of it, come on!

  • Pros: Good smell from cafe
  • Cons: Rude staff

One stop shopping for everyone and everything

by shoppers at Citysearch

Best kept secret between San Antonio and San Marcus,Tx. The antiques are from everywhere and the prices are great! There is something for everyone. Real elegant to country and rustic. Even somethings for the children. Eclectic and modern stuff also. There is a Cafe attatched to the store with the best pie anywhere.Individual dealers with unique items. Must see!

  • Pros: every dealer has his own booth , specialty, and unique display taste
