RUDE STAFF. The bartender Renee threw her pen at me, she gave me my take-out shake without a lid and covered in shake, and had a nasty mouth. She did not care. I brought up the horrible customer service and her rude attitude but nothing was done. There is a FIVE GUYS BURGERS across the street and if you insist, the next nearest RED ROBIN is at 1604 & 251 in the Northwoods shopping center--go there instead.

Rude staff. I have been going to Red Robin for awhile now. My family goes about once a month during Sunday lunches, and every month we always have the same problem when we go. No it is not the food, no it is not the servers. Our problem is the hostesses. We walk in every time and they are always messing around acting like kids, texting, eating candy, mind you all of them are 16 year old girls, but that doesn't matter. We walk in and these girls act like we are keeping them from their gossip time, and when my family walks off to our table, they always have something rude to say behind our backs as we walk off. What ever happened to nice hostesses that make you feel happy about coming, not ones that make you want to leave.

Value does NOT match price. I've been to the Red Robin in Selma, TX on three seperate occasions now. Here's a brief summary of each visit.

1) RUDE waiter! Guy actually said "if you don't like it, there's a subway over there" after we complained about our food being cold. Complained to the manager and was given the standard answer. Food was unimpressive and cold in the middle.

2) Chose to try one of their wacky specialty burgers. The Chili Chili Cheeseburger was supposed to have so much chili (quote from the menu) "you can't pick it up". Not only could I pick the burger up, but I've seen school cafeteria sloppy joe's with more chili. Wife had the chicken parmagiana and said she liked it, but that it was nothing to write home about.

3) Came back with in-laws this time. Food was again decent, except I was missing a piece of my burger. The meat was actually missing about 15% off of one side. When I complained to the waitress she said "I do apologize sir", but never offered to replace it. When I suggested it be replaced, she said she would talk to the manager, but never returned. *NEVER*. Had to get refills on drinks from another waiter, new napkins from another waiter, and the check from another waiter.

That's it Red Robin, I'm done. The food is decent, but the lack of "follow through" and service really lack what is needed to make this be a valued establishment. I can get bigger burgers at Whataburger and better service at Chester's. Sorry, but the value just doesn't match the price.
