Worked with Carl the manager today and had a pleasant experience. I knew the repairs would be high but he gave me several alternatives that I appreciated hearing. One was simply to get me back on the road but I knew I had other problems and he wanted to at least give me some options to have them addressed.

The best advice was given to me by calling Goodyear Credit to at least have them provide me some credit to cover the repairs. With a 6 month no interest special, this worked out great for me and allowed to avoid using another payday loan vendor which is a nightmare in itself. I would recommend them to others.

Doesnt get much better. We have been taking our vehicles to Belden's Automotive for years. Never have I had any problems or concerns. Yes, they are a bit on the expensive side but that is only b/c they use top quality parts and the best products out there. Which saves us money in the long run. I trust them enough to work on my sons car and they even showed him how to to fix a flat and change his oil. They are always there when we need them. Everytime we pick up our vehicle it runs better then ever and we can always expect a call from one of the guys asking how our car is running. I feel like they truly care about me and my family. I will contine to use their services and suggest you do too.

Very friendly and very helpful. I recently moved here from out of state and needed to have some work done on my jeep grand cherokee. I friend of mine recomended Belden's Automotive & Tires off of Fredericksburg. I always feel so uncomfortable at dealerships or other repair shops but this one made me feel right at home! The men at the front desk were so pleasent and friendly offered me a ride home even a donut. They helped me fix the loud noise my brakes were making did an oil change and state inspection. Not once did I ever feel like they were trying to rip me off or sell me something i did not need. Not only that but they explained exactly what it was that was wrong with my brakes and what it would take and cost to fix it before the work was done. I was also impressed with the roadside service they offered. They took me home picked me up and even made a third trip to drop off my garage door opener. I plan on returning to beldens if i need any other mechanic work done.

6 In 7?. Something weird here.

Note that Belden's Automotive has had no reviews up until 08/02/2011 then, suddenly, by 08/09/2011 in only 7 days they have 6 five star reviews. If you'll search further in other places the reviews do not look so good

I would recommend Belden's to all my friends. Just a quick comment - I have been a customer of Belden's since 2004. I have always been treated with the utmost respect. Belden's technicians are well trained and I would recommend Belden's to all my friends

Very dependable. Just wanted to let you all know, that as my family and I are celebrating our 26th year on our property, here in Bulverde; a big thank you is in order to everyone at Belden's Automotive for keeping our family vehicles in top shape. It is great to depend upon your very own "Top Pit Crew" taking care of all the automotive needs for your family vehicles. OUTSTANDING!!. Belden's is OUTSTANDING!! I have newly arrived to San Antonio and went to Belden's after dealers let me down on servicing my Mercedes and Corvette. Their work is superior, the pricing is reasonable, and their service is the best I've gotten anywhere. I highly recommend Belden's Automotive for any car on any budget!!

Outstanding automotive repair. I have had the great pleasure of doing business with Belden's for over 10 years. Ronnie has built a high quality service center that provides the best in customer service along with outstanding automotive repair. I have never had a problem with any repair performed, advice given, or recommendation provided. Truly a high quality business, one of the best, if not the best in San Antonio. I trust Belden's to give me high quality service at a fair price.

Great job!. I am so pleased with Beldens Automotive, they went out of there way to help me get my car picked up and delivered to me. They told me exactly what my car needed and offered me a great price and a better warranty than the dealer! I have since recommended them to two friends and they both loved the Belden organization. I know recommend all my friends to go. Great job Belden family!!

Belden's Bait and Switch. I felt we weren’t dealt with honestly at Belden’s. We were told an estimate of $200-$250 to replace a window motor and regulator on a Chevy Tahoe. Sounded resonable, so we made an appointment. When we dropped the car off there was a $100 diagnostic fee we weren't aware of, but we were assured we would only pay it if we chose not to do the repairs. Four hours later we got the call with a repair estimate of $298, which was higher than expected, but okay.. Then we were given a grand total which suddenly jumped to $398 and included the diagnostic fee. I complained, explaining that the Chevy dealership could have done the repair for $340. I was put on hold and the bill miraculously was lowered to $328. I felt that if I hadn't complained I would have been charged for the full diagnostic fee. As it was I still paid part of it. We were also given a long list of other minor repairs that they found on inspection. We declined all the add-on work. I won't be using Belden Automotive again since I feel there is a high level of bait and switch going on.

If you're looking for a mechanic, go to car talk's website and see the mechanic reviews there. I had left a message for a highly-rated garage. Only too late did I find out I could have gotten the same repair from a more reputable place for $50 less than Belden's.
