SIMPLY THE BEST !!!!!!!. OK SO LIKE I WAS WANTING A TATTOO SINCE I CAN REMEMBER.... I WAS SO NERVOUS WHEN I WALKED INTO VOODOO TATTOO. I WAS GREETED BY A VERY FRIENDLY AND HANDSOME TATTOO ARTIST BY THE NAME OF DAVID. HE WAS SO NICE AND VERY HELPFUL WITH ALL THE QUESTIONS THAT I HAD FOR HIM AND TRUST ME THEY WERE SO MANY QUESTIONS.... HE HELPED ME FIGURE OUT WHIC H DESIGN WAS GOING TO BE BEST FOR ME.... THE WHOLE TIME I WAS GETTING TATTOOED DAVID WAS MAKING SURE I WAS OK AND ASKING IF I NEEDED A BREAK... AND HE HAS GREAT JOKES!!!! SO I HIGHLY RECOMMEND VOODOO TATTOO TO ANYONE THAT IS LOOKING FOR SOME GREAT INK AND EXCELLENT CUSTOMERE SERVICE. I WILL DEFENITELY GO BACK.

Don't put yourself through it. Aside from the cleanliness, the experience was miserable. For 1 tattoo about palm-size, and just in grayscale, it took hours because the artist obviously just didn't want to do it. We had to fight the whole time and still longer when I finally got through to the artist - who didn't want to do my origional design even though I brought her the artwork.

There is nowhere to park also , so good luck with that.

Lazy! And nothing but a disappointment.

Tattoo in San Antonio? This is THE spot!. Okay, I was looking to get a large backpiece done for about the past 6 months as has been my tradition to get new ink once a year. Knowing I would be visiting San Antonio I started researching places. I actually narrowed my search down to 3 parlors (Rings Of Fire, Pae's Open Earth, and Voodoo Tattoo). We arrived on a Saturday afternoon and immediately went into Rings Of Fire Tattoo. I was first put off by the atmosphere which just wasn't my style. My girlfriend had the same feeIing. I showed the artist my design which I brought with me and asked how much it would cost to get it inked across my back. I was told it would be between $700 and $800 which was what I was expecting since it was such a large piece, so Shaggy then went to get my design properly sized. When he returned 30 minutes later, he informed me that the price would be closer to $1500 or $1600. WOW! Quite a jump!

We then decided to leave and get some comparitive pricing(which you should always do when getting a tattoo) and took our search into Voodoo Tattoo. When we first walked in we were greeted by Mike. From the first handshake to the final bandaging, this was nothing less than a great tattooing experience. I let him know that I was looking to get work done in the next two days and I did not want to waste his time or mine. He gave me the price I was looking for. Very professional shop. Backpiece is better than I ever could have imagined, absolute perfection. I cannot rave enough about Voodoo Tattoo! All the artists there were too cool, clean shop, simply a great experience.
