Tips for Orderup

GREAT burgers. The list of toppings for your burger or sandwich is huge and the burgers are great. They are also quite large - one burger and one order of fries is more than enough for two people. I agree with the previous review - the only issue with this place is how crowded it gets - the awkward placement of the drink dispensers doesn't help with the congestion. But once you deal with the drink line you can escape outside and don't have to venture back into the crowd.

Simple menu, but great food. Orderup offers a pretty simple menu with lots of ways to customize your burger, pizza or tacos. Those 3 items are the basis of their menu, but that's not all they offer. Don't miss their fabulous Caesar salad (one of the best in San Antonio). They have started serving breakfast and their cinnamon rolls are addictive. The menu is al a carte, but the food is always fresh and well prepared.

The service is usually friendly and prompt. Your food is prepared to order, so be prepared for a short wait during their busy lunch hours. Even on their busiest days I've never experienced an inappropriate wait for my order.

They offer indoor and outdoor dining at their Lincoln Heights location (I don't know if outdoor seating is available at the Colonnade location). Honestly, the only 'complaint' that I have about the Lincoln Heights location is the lay out of the restaurant. During the busy lunch hours it can get very crowded in the small dining room. Between the people in line to place their orders, the diners eating, and that people waiting to pick up their to-go orders it gets quite difficult to navigate the cramped space.
