Intent on creating a low-key burger joint, Austinite Billy Forrester (owner of Dog & Duck Pub and the former Waterloo Brewing Company) created this no-frills restaurant in 2004. Casual families and neighborhood regulars amble in to order juicy burgers, classic sandwiches and other comfort foods. A surprisingly varied meatless menu offers vegetarians many options. The spacious deck is a favorite dining spot for many, while others prefer to keep an eye on the televisions inside.

Save MoneyAlthough happy hour is officially 2pm-7pm Monday through Friday, the 4 o'clock hour is the "happiest hour" at Billy's, offering up $1 domestic pints and $2 premium pints.

horrendous service, the attitude in this place is that you are lucky to be served by them. I don't plan to ever go back.

I just moved ot the area and was lucky to find this place! This place is the real deal - old fashion corner bar and grill and a sports bar They have old school vid games, pool and darts and a butt load of TV's. Their burgers are pretty decent, but the kicker is they a lot of draft beers - all kinds of good local and foreign beers - I try a different one everytime I'm there. They could have better happy hour prices, but waht can you do? And there are too many guys working there - what's a bar without the ladies?
Pros: Decent food and wide variety of beers. Cool out door patio area and love the old school pool and darts.
Cons: Parking bites - they need more spaces and the business next door are jerks that won't let us park there. Need more waitresses too!
