Best relaxation in San Antonio
by El Colorino at Citysearch
Jeni Spring gives the best massage in San Antonio (maybe the whole state!), whether it be Fijian or Ashiatsu. She enjoys her work and you can feel it. I'll be using my second GroupOn coupon next week!
- Pros: Deep, almost hypnotic movements get out the stress
- Cons: I can't afford it every day
Deep, Relaxing Massage
by BCrab2 at Citysearch
As a Licensed Massage Therapist with 10 years experience myself I know a great massage when I get one...and I just got one from Jeni Spring at Heeling Sole. I love all types of massage therapy and bodywork and had heard lots of good things about Jeni's Ashiatsu and Fijian massages that are performed using the feet.
All the good things I heard were true. I had the Fijian massage with a little Ashiatsu thrown in. It was a wonderful deep tissue massage that left me relaxed and ready to go about my day with renewed energy.
- Pros: Very Knowledgeable, Experienced Therapist
Best Massage Ever
by beckytrantham at Citysearch
This is the only deep tissue massage that doesn't feel pokey. She can give you as much pressure as you want without straining and making you feel bad for asking for more pressure.
She also remembers little things for next time. At my first massage I mentioned that a heated table would feel awesome. I didn't mean this as a hint or request, I was just thinking about the concept, but the next time I came I was shocked to find a warm table. Wow, I forgot I said that, but she remembered!
- Pros: wonderful massage, can schedule appointments online
- Cons: I can't afford to go every day.
Your feet rawk!

Jeni rocks -- She came on over to Austin to barefoot massage a group of friends (in the group were some other massage therapists and ) we all walked out of feeling mighty fine.. mighty fine..
- Pros: flexible, explains everything, and she puts you at ease
- Cons: I wish I had more money to get this done all the time.
Needed it deep

I have been looking for a deep tissue massage, and everywhere I go it is not deep enough, or I come home with bruises and feel worse off. I was skeptical about someone using their feet on me, but at this point I'm up for anything! Jeni's Ashiatsu massage was awesome, I'm really glad I tried something so different, otherwise I would be still on a never-ending search to find a good massage! She worked very specifically where I was tight, and gave me the deepest full body massage I've had. She really knows what she's doing, I couldn't tell the difference between when she used her hands or her feet. I even fell asleep it was so relaxing, and I was so glad that I wasn't writhing in pain or getting another bad massage. It's been 1 week since that massage and I still feel fabulous, I wasn't sore the day after, and my knots haven't bothered me at all since! Thanks Jeni!
- Pros: Easy location
- Cons: Limited weekday hours
