Completely AWFUL!!!! Highlights and lowlights by Chad, the owner- I ended up looking like a calico cat- very patchy. Haircut was very rapid and impersonal. I debated what to do over the weekend, and went back in for color correction. He said it looked brassy. He was able to tame it a bit. Decor in Broadway salon is that of a strip mall salon. You do not leave this salon feeling pampered.
Pros: less expensive than high quality, trendy salons
Cons: poor quality color, impersonal service, bad atmosphere, owner smokes and breathes on you.

The Versi salon and spa is fantastic. Chad, (also known as "eyecandy"), is one of the most talented stylist ever who also happens to be the owner. I've always had a great experience whenever I have visted. The staff is always friendly and Felicia who manages the front desk is a gem. Chad also owns a second location downtown at 128 E. Houston St. The look and feel is a completely different experience. Very chic and ultra modern. Elena the nail specialist is amazing. You should give either location a try. The number downtown is 222.1999 ( I noticed that City Search doesn't have the second location listed).
Pros: Downtown location is great for people who work or live downtown. Broadway location is centrally located in Alamo Heights.
