I had a wedding to attend in San antonio and wanted to get an up do. I picked Petra's based on reviews online and called to make an appointment and they put me with Holly. Holly was great! She asked me what I wanted and listened when I wanted something changed, but also gave her opinion. In the end, I loved it! I've had my hair done probably over 20 times in my life and this was definitely my favorite of all of them! Thanks holly!

Love Petra's Salon. My wife and I have been customers at Petra's for years and love our hairdresser Amanda. She always gives me something new and edgy and my wife's color always looks amazing. The staff is very polite and good at getting me in to see Amanda when needed. I travel alot so my schedule is unpredictable. We are always pleased when we leave Petra's.

Amazing customer service!. I had to run in for a last minute appointment and they made sure to fit me in even though I was there on the wrong day! The whole team is outstanding, and their dedication to their customers is amazing! Their adorable boutique is worth a trip on it's own. If you're searching for a salon, put Petra's at the top of your list!

Love, Love, Love, this Salon. i have used my stylist at Petras for many years and all i can say is I love it there. i really appreciate the time Bea takes in cutting my hair and the color and highlights are always great. The stylist are always polite and friendly.

The ambiance of the salon is great and i love the little boutique for quick gifts.

Stay Away!. I had an awful experience here! I got my hair cut and dyed by Amanda. When I got there, I brought her multiple pictures and told her exactly what I wanted. I told her this haircut was so important because my engagement pictures were coming up. I left with black hair instead of the red I asked for and the most awful haircut I've ever had. Instead of movement and layers, it was completely blunt with one incredibly awkwardly placed layer and just a hunk of chopped hair for bangs. The entire time Amanda was cutting and dying my hair, she was completely ignoring me and chatting with the hair dresser behind her about volleyball and cupcakes. To top it off, when I called back to tell them what happened (not to ask for my $125 back, just to give feedback) Petra, the OWNER was incredibly nasty to me and acted like it was MY fault that I had such a bad experience. She never once apologized which was simply what I was looking for.

On a side note, I ended up getting my hair fixed at Blondes, Brunettes, and Redheads in Universal city. Allie did an amazing job and they hardly charged me anything to fix someone elses mistake.

Stay far away from Petra's!!

Awesome Salon. I LOVE this salon! Everyone there has a great attitude, from the minute you walk in until you are out the door. I finally found someone (Ashley) who looked at the picture I brought in and did exactly what I wanted. And the bonus is that they have a boutique with the most unique clothing and jewelry around.

over priced hair cut. I had a ok haircut but I felt it was over priced for what I got. My hair was already short I just wanted a little shorter and it cost 35.00 fro about 15 min work again overpriced.

Do you want to be pampered?. I love this beautiful salon. They have full service, from message, manicures, pedicures, hair and something to wear after you are all refreshed and beautiful. You will love their service and attention to detail and personel service. I always feel great when I leave.
