Ashley's deceptive lay away terms. Beware of their lay away policy. After they had my money for almost 90 days, I called to arrange the final payment and was told it was on back order, and would be several more weeks before arriving, yet no one told me there was a delay. "It's not our policy to tell customers that items are not in stock until the final payment is made." So let me get this straight, they know they sold an item, that the final payment was due at a specific date, that most reasonable customers would want to pick up their purchase when paid in full, but you know the item is not available...doesn't that sound like fraud, deceit, and deception? Good customer service would call a client as soon as the information of a back order item was known, giving the customer the option to hold off on the final payment until the item was available. Not so with Ashley's. I had to fight to get my money back in full without a $50 cancellation fee. They claim to have a 14 day customer cancellation policy, but beware, that is from purchase day...not delivery or pick up day! Still waiting on the refund...partial credit refund on a debit purchase!!! and part via "check's in the mail" for payments made by check. I will never suggest Ashley's to anyone!!!

Was going to pay way more tha expected. Didn't like the pushy sales people to begin with. I got it at Rooms To Go when i visited there location off the 410 on Saturday. Ashley Furniture had a lot of beautiful furniture & prices that I thought was reasonable. I left with a total in mind of what I would be spending & at the end I saw the same style of furniture at TexasUnitedStore{dot}Com a store off the 1604 & O'Connor.

Now when I mentioned this to Ashley Furniture, the didn't budge to even change the price. At the end, I just got upset & dropped everything I had listed from Ashley Furniture & just purchased from Texas United Company.

BEST customer service in San Antonio!. We bought our living room furniture here with a salesman/manager by the name of OSCAR and we were so happy with the service, quality, and prices that after searching (literally) all over San Antonio for the best price and choice of bed for our daughter, we ended up right back at Ashley's. They gave us a discount for paying cash and even the store manager took the time to say Thank you. Right down to the cashier that rang us up we were extremely happy. When we are ready to buy our dining room set we are going back!
