Delicious, Authentic Food and Friendly Service. Great food, friendly proprietors and quick service - we love it!

Even though there's no kid's menu, my kids love the Beef Lard Nar and Spring Rolls. I love any place where they willingly eat lots of veggies! The Pad Thai is the best in town and the coconut ice cream is definitely worth a try!

Don't miss this gem!. Thai Topaz is truly a little gem of a restaurant. It's small size, very basic decor, and strip-center location don't distract from the main attraction ... the fabulously prepared authentic Thai cuisine.

We typically go for lunch, when an entree, crispy but basic egg roll, and iced tea are about $6.50. As a bonus, a cup of very flavorful vegetable soup is brought to each diner as an appetizer. (There is currently a frequent dining card available, where ten stamps get you a free lunch on your next visit. )

Pad Thai, with its sprinkling of crunchy peanuts, is the best in town. The ginger entrees are also excellent, with fresh basil complementing the ginger and garlic. The cold beef and cucumber "salad" is delicious. But the real star here is the heavenly chicken with mango ... chunks of seared chicken and velvety slices of fresh mango in a delightfully spicy sauce. The spice level on all entrees can be customized by adding a level to your order: 1 is mildest, 5 has the most heat. For me, mango chicken to level 4 is sheer perfection.

Portions are large; you won't leave hungry. Service is perfunctory. And, if you're dining solo and like reading while you eat, there is a shelf of current magazines available for your perusal.

All in all, a great value, well worth the trip. Enjoy!

Without a doubt the best Thai restaurant in San Antonio - DELICIOUS!. Food is out of this world. I have yet to eat anything that is not absolutely great. Their Pad Thai is the best but other menu items are just as tasty. Prices are reasonable, portions are large. The atmosphere is very clean and friendly. If only I hadn't moved across town :( I am still willing to drive 12 miles in traffic just to eat there - it's that good. They also do carry out orders so add them to speed dial!
