What is your child doing that is fun-filled & will help them deliver their next book report? Welcome to Acting Up! We help every young person achieve "Social Presence", the confidence to speak up in any situation through the use of Creative Drama including Theatre Games, Improvisation, Storytelling, Vocal Projection & more.

Our After-School program will pick up students from area elementary schools & transport them to our facility. Acting Up! will provide snacks, Creative Drama Classes each day & homework time. Pick up by 6:00 pm. Program will begin on 8/25/2008 & will follow the NISD calendar.

Fall Creative Drama Classes will be held weekly, beginning on 09/02/08. Children will learn pantomime, improvisation, voice & diction, among other skills, culminating in an onstage performance at the end of the semester. Day & time options are available for each age group.

If you are looking for both a fun and enriching activity for your child, this is the place. While acting, children learn the essential life skill of how to be at ease while being better communicators. There are several sessions, each with a different theme. Gigi, the director, has excellent credentials, training, and years of experience in theater (acting, teaching, and directing). "Acting Up" is a really fun way for kids to learn how to better express themselves. Highly recommended!

Thank you so much. The kids really are having a great time in the first Summer Session! I appreciate your recommendation and look forward to helping more kids learn confidence, presentation skills and "Social Presence". :-)
