Since opening its first location next to the San Antonio World's Fair in 1968, this hotel has become synonymous with consistency and reasonable rates. Great place!!. Walking into the lobby was quite a surprise with the hugh Texas star on the wall, hill country plants, fireplace, and saddles with lariats and pottery situated overhead. The hotel is immaculate and well-equipped with large desk, microwave/refrigerator, coffee maker, hairdryer, and iron/board in the closet. High speed internet was also a nice surprise in the room. Breakfast was spacious and very good including fresh waffles made in the shape of Texas. Friendly service!!
