Editorial Review. Fitness club features state of the art equipment, classes, personal trainers, Yoga, Pilates and group classes.
Fantastic Kids Club. Wow...I have been a member at the Prue road club for three years. The kids club is very important to me because my kids need a place to have fun while being safe. Well, the staff at the club have always been great, but the club just opened a "brand new" HUGE kids club at the front of the club. The new area has a huge climbing maze with slides and toys, an interactive area where the kids work on hand/eye coordination by hitting and throwing objects at a wall with lights that go on and off. It is very comforting to know that while I enjoy my workout the kids are getting their own activity. I now have a hard time leaving the club because they don't want to leave. Great job Spectrum!
great facilities, friendly staff. I went into this location for the first time since being a member I met a friend of mine at the club. She was not a member so I explained she was a guest of mine and wanted to try out the facility and they greeted her and we were told to enjoy our workout. We were both so impressed that they did not bother us during our workout trying to get her to join. Not only do they have a very nice facility but very friendly staff.
Guilt Free Athletic Club. I really have enjoyed my membership with Spectrum. The club is clean the staff is friendly, the sales people are not pushy. Not only do they offer a variety of things for me to do, between the cycle classes, yoga, trekking and step classes - they have this awesome kids activity center for my children. I don't feel guilty about them being cooped up in some small room with nothing to do. The kids center is AWESOME - my kids keep me motivated to workout, because they want to go as well. This is been a great investment for me and my family.
a great place to workout. I love this club! I'm a workout junkie and go to several of the Spectrum locations. The club on Prue is one of my favorites. The staff is really nice, the place is clean and they have some cool new equipment. I like the TV's on the machines - I can watch the news on the channel I like. The best things about the club are the classes (so much fun) and the new place for kids (my daughter loves it!).
Great Equipment. This place is really easy to get in and out of, without the hassle. Great equipment with personal TVs on the treadmills. Helps the hour jog go by fast. The weight area is hassle free too. Not a lot of time waiting to work in with people.
renovations give club boost.
I have been a health club member for nearly 20 years. This is the club I used years ago when it was Raquetball Fitness. I left 4 or 5 years back when the Rogers Ranch location opened. I recenty rejoined the now Spectrum clubs after a "not what it's cracked up to be" experience at Life Time. (they charge extra for everything and kids run amuck in the workout areas, so watch out there).
I usually use the Rogers Ranch Spectrum but I stopped by this club last week. I was amazed at the transformation. Spectrum has really put some money into this gym. They now have a large kids area which was not there before, plenty of treadmills, etc. and extra touches like personal tv's on the equipment, towels, shampoo...I was very impressed. While I will still use Rogers Ranch on most occasions, this gym is very nice.
