Gorgeous. Beautiful Salon! I have always loved Aveda, so when I looked for a salon near me that carried the line, I chose Sivan at first because it was conveniently located to where I live. I was very pleasantly surprised when I walked in to a chic, sophisticated decor, and was greeted by some of the friendliest customer service personnel I've encountered in quite some time. It makes a big difference when someone takes the time to show you they're happy you came in! The little receptionist was very enthusiastic and went above and beyond simply "checking me in" for my appointment. I was taken on a tour of the facility, which I thought was nice, then they offered me a beverage and even a snack! Another added treat there was a massage therapist (Amber I believe was her name) who gave me a hand massage while I was waiting for my hair to process, (for FREE!) which I enjoyed very much. I started my day thinking I would be getting a routine touch up and trim, and ended up leaving with pretty much a royal spa treatment! I love my cut and the color the stylist suggested for me...I will definitely be back, and am actually looking forward to the next visit!

Please read update at end. I had found this salon through a coupon website and purchased a special manicure/pedicure. I am 7 months pregnant and thought it would be a relaxing treat. However, it was the worst experience and definitely not relaxing. My appointment was scheduled for 1:30pm and I was not taken back until almost 2:30pm. My french manicure looks terrible! My nails are uneven and the white tips look like a 2 year old painted them. I also have serveral fingers that are red, swollen and scratched around the nail due to harsh buffing.

After that lovely experience, I was taken for my pedicure. The tubs for feet are very uncomfortable with a strange angle for legs when sitting on the recliners. During the toe nail trimming the stylist cut my big toe nail too short causing it to bleed. Ouch! And again was very rough with the buffing causing the skin around my toes to be red, scratched and swollen, which was then fun to have alcohol put on the abrasions. When it was time to paint my toes, I had to bend my knees and put my feet flat on the foot part of the recliner, not fun for a pregnant woman and definitely not relaxing. Thank goodness it was only my nails and not my hair, I can't imagine how that would have gone!

I only spent $20 for the coupon and then paid an additional $10 for the "french" manicure, that my 2 year old could have done and I am very upset. I can't believe the salon would normally charge almost $60 for this! On a side note, the salon is beautiful inside and the extras, like drinks and parfaits, are great additions, but the most important part is the actual manicure/pedicure. I can go to a bar/restaurant for drinks/snacks!

HUGE Rip-Off!! Rude Mgr/Owner!!. I had a OPI Axxium Gel manicure scheduled, purchased through UrbanDealights (like Groupon). Half way through the manicurists says "You are an UrbanDealights customer right, so there is an additional $20 charge to remove your polish." What?!? Who charges $20 additional to remove polish before a manicure?? The mgr/owner was rude and unwilling to satisfy the potential new client - the purpose of UrbanDealights offers! Never going back there again!!

Wouldn't go back. I won't mention the stylists name who did my hair, but if you get a ticket at the end of your service in the amount of $250 or more for a routine color job, you know you've been screwed like I was. Definitely not worth the price. I knew she was BS-ing me the whole time. Wish I liked this salon, it's right near my house.
