BEWARE!!! As of today I have yet to receive a refund that is due to me since Smooth Solutions closed their Austin, Texas location over two (2) years ago. I have left messages to Kim (Account Manager) and to Steven Finder, MD. Have they have NOT call me back. According to their letters they sent, they will issue refunds once they are able to.

From what I understand, Jeffrey Adelglass, MD acquired the Plano/DFW (Smooth Solutions) locations in September 2012 for undisclosed amount. If that is the case, shouldn't Dr Finder be able to give the refunds to those who requested it?

Once in the treatment room, the technician was really nice. Every treatment I have had (chin, underarms, legs, etc), the technician (not the same one) has been really great.

I question the legitimacy of these reviews. The positive reviews on here are fake. There are so many overly-glowing reviews on here I am very suspicious they are Smooth Solutions employees, management or owners creating dummy accounts and writing them. I am not at all pleased with my experience. When I initially signed on, their sales consultant (commissioned, I'm sure) advised that they would never again run pricing incentives as low as they had in the past because they were losing money on the pricing. She convinced me to pay their current rate, and since then I've seen promotion after promotion for lower rates. They'll lie just to get your money. My hair in the areas I chose to treat (underarms & bikini) is dark and coarse, and they ensured me it was ideal for treatment. It doesn't even work! Right after a treatment, about 20% of the hair will fall out, but it's not even permanent! It just comes right back. After 5 out of 6 treatments, my hair grows at the same rate and thickness as it always did. The only thing Smooth Solutions has done for me is taken $1600, wasted hours and hours of my time, caused lots of discomfort (it doesn't hurt? Ha!) and made me feel like a moron. The best part is you have to sign off from the get-go that you understand they can't technically promise you any results (although verbally they promise you just about anything you could imagine), so you have no recourse in getting a refund for poor results. I learned the hard way - buying laser hair removal is about on par with buying magic beans or sea monkeys. My advice to anyone considering becoming a Smooth Solutions customer is to take whatever amount of money you are thinking of spending with them and do anything else with it.

I have already sent many people to Smooth Solutions. My overall experience is always very pleasant. I love all of the technicians and the office staff as well. Everyone is very welcoming and willing to do what it takes to make me very comfortable and have a great experience.

I have been going to Smooth Solutions for years and always choose them for my laser hair removal needs I feel they are reasonable priced for what you receive, and you save money and time in the long run.
