Janet is one of the best stylist I've ever gone to! She has been doing my hair for the last few years now and I must say that she just knows what she is doing. I go to her with very minimal and undecided ideas/ thoughts on what to do with my hair and she works her magic!! My hair comes out beautiful each time!

Janet is my girl at the salon:). I have thick hair and her hair cuts make my hair look and feel amazing. She has colored my hair many times no complaints. I always leave a happy customer.

VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! With the high rating I thought for sure it was going to be a good place but was sorely disappointed, I went in to get my brows done before a big trip to Europe and the lady I had been going to for my eyebrows moved and I needed to find a new place. I felt rushed and like they didn’t even want me there, kind of rude and I am very disappointed in the job they did, I wanted to come out feeling confident but now I really wish I would have found another place, I think even the random places in the mall would be better. I now have to go and pluck the straggly hairs still left. I also got a tint to them and one is darker than the other and it wasn’t anything like I expected. Save yourself the trip and just do your brows yourself at least if it doesn’t turn out well you didn’t waste any money on this place.

I can't really say enough good things about this salon.

My entire family has been going to Image Makers for a few years. Anna is our stylist. The bottom line is that Anna is the perfect mix of extremely broad talent, warm personality, and a modern, stylish yet tasteful look. As long as she is at Image Makers -- we won't be going anywhere else. I have recommended countless friends to her -- and all say the same thing: A+

The best thing about Anna and Image Makers is that Anna can do all kinds of hair, with all kinds of people. So many salons in the Stone Oak area have such narrow range: either they cater to men, or snobby older women who have had the same hairstyle since the 1990s.

Image Makers is different: Their stylists seem to be talented enough to please everyone.

For instance:

I have extremely PICKY teenage girls. They see Anna regularly. And Anna is nothing short of amazing. She's patient with them (moody teens. hair. Need I say more?).

But most importantly, my girls love that Anna has a modern, sleek look -- we laugh because every time we see her, her dark hair is streaked with some new funky color. My girls are not into that kind of stuff -- but the fact that Anna is, makes them feel comfortable. Anna is stylish, and edgy, but tasteful at the same time. So my teens trust her to recommend cutting edge styles, techniques, new products, etc. And they also trust her when she says "that's probably not a good choice for you." We have recommended so many of their teen friends to the salon -- and all say the same thing -- "Anna is so cool."

(BTW -- Here's an INSIDER tip: if you walk into a salon, and do not see any hip stylists with modern hair styles, run, run, run. Always look for stylists like Anna in a salon. Trust me -- even if you would NEVER want a red streak, a nose ring, or a funky pixie cut -- the fact that a salon has stylists with those things is a good sign -- it means that the owner is cutting edge and stylists are trained on new techniques, new styles, staying fresh, and progressing in skills. Bottom line: If all the stylists look like they just rolled out of bed, have hair cuts like your mom, or like they have had the same hair style since 1992 -- this is NOT a good sign. RUN.)

But keep in mind, Anna is not just one-dimensional. She cuts my picky husband's hair very well. And she does my hair as well.

At 45, I am clearly not modern, hip, or "cool." And my cut and color are always perfect. Anna is the ONLY stylist I have ever had wherein I can sit down and say, flatly, "I hate my hair, fix it, do whatever you want" -- and two hours later, I am amazed at the transformation. Some stylists are only good at one thing -- color or cutting, not both. Anna is great at both - which is rare.

I am one of those women that is a closet "diva." If a stylist is good, I am willing to pay top dollar. I love changing my hair style -- color, highlights, Keratin, you name it, I have either done or want to do it.

I am from Houston, and used to having a wide selection of upscale salons. In San Antonio -- frankly, there isn't much selection. I have been to all the more upscale salons in the area -- K. Charles, Avalon, Veronyka's, Pure Posh.

None beat Image Makers. And trust me, I am picky.

No more FRIZZ!!!. Went in for a basic hair cut and style, came out feeling fabulous!!! I have naturally curly hair and tend to have bad salon experiences. Anna asked me to please trust her. With a reluctant yes I agreed. Anna helped me find the products I needed to look and feel like a million everyday!!!

Anna will be my stylist for the rest of my life!!!

BEST HAIRCUT AND PERM EVER...... Thanks Stephanie,,,,the greatest haircut I ever got...I can actually do something with it now....perm was perfect too...the suggestions about hair care products were very helpful, never knew I was using the wrong products....THANKS again, my hair always looks GREAT

ANNA IS SOOO AMAZING!. My little girl cut her own hair one day like 5 year old do sometimes. I had no idea if it could be fixed. She had cut a huge chunk out of the back of her hair and was worried she would end up looking like a boy. I walked into Image Makers and was greeted by Anna. She looked at my daughters hair and instantly took charge. She was super sweet to my daughter and was able to fix her hair into a layered bob. You would have never guessed that my daughter had taken scissors to her hair after Anna was done. I loved it. I would recommend Anna to EVERYONE!!!! Just ask for her!!! :)

Never going anywhere else again!. I've been here a few times now and have never had a better experience anywhere. I ask for Anna every time I go in because I know that not only does she treat me with respect but my hair as well. She's more focused with the quality of her work than anything else that might be going on at the time. I can also tell that she's isn't truly satisfied with her work until she knows that I am. I would recommend Anna to anybody looking for a great professional and trained hairstylist, none better.
