Tips for Dave & Buster's

Service sucked!. I realize Dave & Busters is not a fine restaurant; it's a fun place that has good food for a high price. The wait staff could use some customer service + waiter 101 training. It was my birthday. We waited an hour to sit, which is fine - I understand that. What I don't understand is that the waiter asked us if we would like our appetizer before dinner. "Yes" was the answer. The appetizer (nachos, really?) was delayed. This means the dinner should still come after the appetizer. The "restaurant floor manager" with the thing in her ear even came to appologize that the nachos would be late. They were, and without silverware or plates. The meals came immediately after the appetizer dish was laid on the table. I asked the waiter if they normally serve plates or silverware with the appetizer. He just looked at me and walked away. He actually came back to ask how our meal was. Thanks for the unforgettable birthday meal, D&B's.

service people have no proper training. I asked them to not put mayo on my son's mini burgers. the waiter brings me burger with mayo. I ask him to take it back and he tells me no. He would have to charge me for another order. I was like are you kidding me. i asked for the manager and suddenly he had a change of mind. These guys have no proper training. Make sure you have at least a $100 dollars to have a good time.

Super-sized party multiplex for casual diners and serious drinkers who like a joystick with their drumsticks and swizzle sticks.. In Short
This massive entertainment complex lures customers in with its arcade, then keeps them there by way of a spacious eatery serving pizza, pasta, burgers and finger food. Classic games like billiards, skeeball and shuffleboard are balanced by electronic counterpoints such as Ms. Pac-Man, Centipede and virtual-reality simulators that re-create an 18-wheeler ride or a Star Trek voyage. Of the two full bars, one comes with a 20-screen videodome designed for armchair quarterbacks.

Great food and fun for adults!. Awesome food, and they have a really good food/game combo. Pasta dishes are surprisingly tasty. It is semi-expensive, but a fun place to go. A lot of games and good prizes for adults (shot glasses, kitchen stuff, etc.). A fun environment for just about any occasion.

great drinks!!!. This place is pricey. I like to go only during their happy hour. m-f 430-700pm and sun-thr 9pm-11pm. My favorite drink is the million dollar margarita. I love their steaks. yum.

Good Place to Have a Good Time. First off, Dave and Busters is not a family friendly establishment. It is a bar, pool hall, and place to eat. I would not advise you to take your children there to play video games. Go to Chuck e' Cheese instead. If you are over 21, Dave and Busters is a great place to go and unwind after a long day of work. Where else can you drink a beer and play skeeball at the same time? Yes it can be expensive, but it is worth it for the unique atmosphere. I would wait to go after 10pm though, to give time to let the families with children leave.

Mixed. If you're coming to play games and eat then OK. If you're coming to just eat go somewhere else. Game selection is good. Food is just OK not great. Food is pricey. Drinks are very pricey unless you're coming to one of their happy hours. Service was aweful (7:30pm on a Wednesday night). Very slow time, but still took forever to be seated. Waitress had a few screwups with our meal. Regular sodas, teas, and beer were a ripoff. Talk about expensive! Very disappointed.

Nice, but not cheap.. This is a good place to have a good time. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff makes you feel welcome. Just don't plan on coming in without spending some real money for a good time.

Continue to have a good time. My friend took me for the first time a few months ago and we continue to go back on a regular basis. The food and the service were great. There are more than enough video games to play. Not to mention the pool tables are awesome. They are in great condition. It's a little pricey on the weekends but well worth it. I will definitely keep going.
