poor place for consignments

Be very careful if you use this firm to sell your furniture. Make sure items are put up for sale during the time period of your contract and not later. I never received a response to phone calls or letters and when I asked to have someone and collect the unsold items my request was ignored. Agree on the rudeness factor as well.I do not recommend this company for anything.

Beware:Read ALL Consistent Reviews How Awful Owners Are!!!

The owners are AWFUL!!! They are a DISGRACE TO THE HUMAN RACE!!! BEWARE!!! How can anybody support a business like this?

I also walked out. I could not believe the way they spoke to my father. The wife is especially bad. She is disrespectful and arrogant. They lost out on a $2,000 purchase. It seems as though they don't really need the business anyway.

The husband, and mother-in-law are just as bad, or worse. It is unbelievable they are still in business.

Treated Rudely

I have shopped with bygones on Broadway for years and bought several things there.

Today I visited the Castle Hills store and the owner was very rude to my husband. He had asked her for a price on a rug, she began to walk with him to the rug and another customer told her they were ready to check out. The owner turned around without a word to my husband and went immediately to check out another customer.

She looked up and saw my husband and said, " I had already been helping this customer." another man was working there and my husband asked if he might be able to help him and the owner rolled her eyes and said to the customer that she was checking out, " I'm sorry but this man thinks he is more important." At that comment I said, "we are leaving" and as we left the owner commented "that's probably a good idea." Never have I been so insulted before by such rudeness. I will not return to the Castle Hills store.
