Melissa is the BEST. I have extremely fine, thin hair. She provided hair extensions that give me length and fullness I never imagined possible. And, they’re extremely comfortable because she made custom bonds small enough so that my thin hair can support them. I don’t have huge blobs holding my hair on like I’ve seen on other people. I LOVE my hair extensions! I’ve met people who have had extensions done by “professionals” in LA and NY, but I feel the ones I got from Melissa at Extensions of Yourself (right here in San Antonio!) are far better. I’m so pleased with them I show them to all my friends and people I meet. I’ve had three sets over the years I’ve been going to Extension of Yourself and I’ve been extremely happy with them every time. Melissa really cares to get the job done right, and her fees are very reasonable.

I highly recommend Extensions Of Yourself! Melissa does amazing work! Her experience and knowledge is second to none. After years of having extensions I know first hand you want a professional who will take the time to explain the procedure, what to expect, as well as the do's and dont's to ensure you are pleased with the results. Melissa is extremely thorough and it's very obvious she loves and values her work. She is the only one I trust to touch my hair! Give her a call! You don't be disappointed!!

Melissa is the FANTASTIC!!! She is a true professional and will bend over backwards to help you out. I went through a difficult time in my life when my hair was shedding and I cut it off to make it look thicker. This was a big mistake on my part because I still wasn't happy. Melissa was the only person that took me as a client; everyone else said that my hair was too short. This was their loss and my gain. I could go on and on about how good she is, but I think the other post say what I am saying.

wonderful work. Melissa did a great job on my hair!! From the initial visit to the follow ups she was very informative and knowledgeable. She took her time and made sure you liked what you saw! She really cares about making her clients look and feel beautiful!! I have naturally thin hair and Melissa gave me thick long locks!! I have much more confidence now and I know I went to the right person!!

Very personalized. I think God sent me to Melissa. I had hair loss from chemotherapy and she made me feel beautiful again. I had never really been to a beautician before--did my color myself. She's very prompt with calling you back, and she always wants to get you in as soon as she can. She continues to give me great service. I have recommended her to many friends and fellow patients.

Great service!. I've been going to Melissa for a year. I had hair loss from chemotherapy, and genetics so she had quite a challenge. I am very happy with the results, hair, length, color, and quality.

The scheduling of appointments is also never a problem, allowing me flexibility and privacy too. Highly recommend!

Melissa is the BEST! I will never go anywhere else!. I have been thinking about getting extensions for two years now. I went to all the hair salons websites and they all said pretty much the same thing. I went to Extensions of Yourself's website and read Melissa's bio. I do not go to Salons because I have very thin hair due to thyroid disease, the last time I went to Toni and Guy or however you spell it, they made me feel like I wasnt even worth talking too. It was a horrible experience and I will never go back. I really feel blessed that I found Melissa, she did such a wonderful job on my hair, the first thing I said when she was finished was "I have hair!" when I got home and looked at it again in the mirror I cried I was so happy. Melissa gave me much more than hair, she gave me confidence. She told me how beautiful I looked, and I told her how beautiful I felt. She is one of those people you meet in your life that changes you for the better. What makes her so special is she actually cares about you, it has nothing to do with money, she just wants to see you happy. Go to her, if you have hair or not, she is a great person and I'm so glad I found her! See you in four weeks girl!

great experience and lovely extensions!!. After clip ins, glued tracks, and even trying a weave...all of those extensions make you feel like you are wearing a helmet. It's hot, the hair gets nappy, it's damaging to your hair, getting it out is always a painful or accidental process.

After wasting so much time and money on those extensions I finally did my research and found fusion extensions in san antonio. I had heard many good things about Melissa and after getting a consultation from another place for fusion extensions I felt the most comfort and reliability with Melissa at Extensions of Yourself. Unlike other salons that passed me off to many different assistants to explain the fusion extension process, i left with little knowledge about how they worked or felt and also thought my natural color was (as they said) not likely to be able to accomplish.

Driving to Melissa for a consultation, I was a walk in but she sat me down and explained in detail how everything worked and that it was very healthy for your hair. She showed me by taking down her own hair which she had done fusion extensions on. At first sight you would never believe it was not her own hair!! Her intelligence and one on one attention...never being passed off to someone who is not Melissa is very refreshing.

Her rates are great when you see the quality of the hair and with little maintenance they last and still look great after 6 months! I was sold and just got my extensions done yesterday after only a week of waiting for the hair and with everything other salons said would be almost impossible, Melissa did with no problem. Not only do I have my natural color back but I have fused hair that can be pilled, yanked, styled, etc...and I don't have to worry about it coming out. It's definitely worth the money!!

With proper maintenance I don't see why anyone would use any other type of extension and if you want to be able to finally really trust someone with your hair, you can definitely trust Melissa!

The best hair extensions! Affordable too!. I have been getting extensions for a few years now and every time I went to someone the first set of extensions looked GREAT for a few weeks, then they became matted and tangled. It seemed when I had to go back and get them taken out and put back in, the second time looked even worse, not to mention MY hair looked and felt horrible.

After spending over $2000 on hair extensions at a very upscale salon in stone oak, they started falling out! I went online to search for more options and I came across Extensions of Yourself, so I called and set up a free consult. I met with Melissa, and immediately I felt assured she could help me.

She explained my choices and I decided to have her take out the extensions I had and put her extensions in. She removed the extensions in half the time and there was NO pulling or ripping out like before! She did my color and applied my extensions. I could not believe how amazing I looked! FINALLY someone who knows what they’re doing! I am now on my second set of extensions, and after 4 months they still look fabulous.

I really like the fact that Melissa is the only one who works with my hair, I never get passed off to an assistant or another stylist, and the setting is so private I don't feel embarrassed like everyone is looking and staring at me:)

If you have had extensions and had a bad experience, DONT let that stop you from trying it again.. GO SEE MELISSA she works miracles.
