Horrible. We had a reservation and still had to wait almost 20 minutes to get a table. When we finaly had a table, we ordered our drinks. I ordered a Malibu Bay Breeze and I did not recieve that. I recieved vodka mixed with grapefruit Juice. One of our friends ordered a mojito and found 3 beer bottle caps in his drink. I was just thankful that the food was good. We also had issues in the Azuca dance bar with our drinks and also to get our key back from wallet parking. They very disrespectful and the owner did not seem to really care. I was really disappointed and we paid a total of $160 for food and drinks.

A Good Time After Dark. I really enjoyed this little spot that is away from it all. Although it is downtown, its not in the middle of all the traffic and hustle of the nightlife. Its away from all of that and it offers great latin dance music such as salsa, bachata and merengue.

I had the mango mojito which was delicious and not to pricey either.

The only thing was that I felt like staying out a little bit later and they closed at 1 am.

I would definitely go back another night.

Great experience!. We went out this weekend to a place called Carmens De La Calle off of N. St. Mary's. They treated us very rudely so we left and called a friend and they recomended Azuca. We were impressed from the beginning! From valet service to the live salsa band and the atmosphere was awesome! We had a really great time sitting at the bar watching the band and the dancers (I don't dance). The food was well prepared and was delicious! Our party tried several different plates and we all shared with each other. Every plate was incredible! Unfortunately, there was one small problem. We did not get all the sides that the menu said came with the plates and had to request them. We were also charged $1 more for our plate then what the menu price was. But these were just very minor setbacks and the pros far outweigh the cons! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun place to spend your evening. We are going back this weekend!

Restaurant for tourists. I came from Houston to San Antonio because I thought I was going to find a good latin restaurant to enjoy caribbean food. First of all I realized that the prizes are exhorbitant. The steak/meat prizes average $20+, therefore average income customer may find much better service in another latino restaurant in this city ( You will get a great 16 oz steak at Texas Roadhouse for this price or less and you will feel like home). I asked for an "Argentinian Chorizo" appetizer thinking that I was going to taste something different. What I was served was few pieces of regular sausage which you can find locally and any supermarket along with a small portion of salad. The location is not in accordance with the prices of the food. There are long cushioned benche placed along the that gives the impression that had not been cleaned in years. Finally my wife and I realized that the condition of the bench is caused by the years of usage. My recommendation to all the new customers; be aware that you may want to advise the waiter or waitress that you don't want the 20% gratuity included on your bill, because if you don't say nothing it will be included on it; not 15% but 20%!!!! This was my first time to this restaurant and for sure it will be my last. I don't know for how long it has been open but for sure I can forecast that it won't last too much.

Great Happy Hour but plan on staying for dinner!. Azuca is known for their happy hour...Mojitos, Capirihina's and Appetizers for under $3 dollars is a tasty steal. Plan on staying for dinner so you don't miss out on their delicious seafood dishes. Their specialty Feijoda.... it is out of this world.
