Bad BAD. Ok sooo last night REHAB was supposed to be playing here>>> and after driving an hour to SA to see this Awesome band we get there and SCOUT BAR IS CLOSED!! AND WITHOUT ANY NOTICE on their website. so the band sold merchandise and signd autographs next door at the sports bar mulligans> I will NEVER EVER TRY TO ATTEND ANY SHOW AT SCOUT BAR

Great for seeing bands but really rude employees. I went to Scout Bar on a Sunday night for the first time to see live music. The flyer said bands start at 9 so I got there at 9:20 pm, only to find all the bands waiting in the parking lot because the people who work there had not shown up yet. The hours posted on the door and on the web say 8-2 so don't go by that, it was close to 10 before they let people who had been waiting in. The two guys at the door, made it known to everyone that they did not want to be there. The bar tenders would ignore people and finish conversations between each other so the line would get backed up when it did not need to. The whole thing was like some kind of power trip. The place was dirty. And I am shocked because of the location, you would think it would be kept up better. I am getting tired of every live music venue in San Antonio ending up like this, it is not like this in other cities that treat musicians and there fans well.

The only positive thing I can say was the the stage sound was great, the sound guy must be the only professional working at scout bar.
