Food Poisoning! Lion and Rose Selma. I have eaten there before and it was ok food so we figured we would give it another shot since hearing the menu changed and they added more health friendly options. 1 person in our dinner party got served raw Fish but didn't realize until half way through and was cold in the center . Worst part we had a dinner party of 6 and 3 people who ordered the Greek salads got extremely sick and one had to be treated at the base hospital for food poisoning. So a $160 worth of food just got shot down the toilet and puked out of the car window on the way to the hospital. THANKS LION & ROSE!! There food is subpar at best and I bet there will be more reports of food illness.

Delish food, great beer. I love L&R at the Forum! The food is always excellent, the drink selection superb and the staff is fabulous! Great place to go for lunch, dinner or just drinks. And go for Geeks Who Drink trivia! Lots of fun!

Unprofessional staff; does not reflect well on franchise. The Lion & Rose located in the Forum (Selma, TX) is comparable to other locations of the franchise: pleasant atmosphere, good food selection, and a diverse bar selection appropriate to its theme. Generally, the cost is slighty high, so it is not the first choice if budget is a concern.

After several visits, the general service by the waitstaff has varied from notably good to questionable. But overall, the quality of service generally declined over subsequent visits.

However, conduct by some members of the waitstaff is unprofessional: my party overheard one of the servers talk poorly about one group of patrons of the establishment to other customers. I and other members of my party found the behavior distasteful.

I would strongly recommend against patronizing this particular location for the declining service quality and the unprofessional behavior shown by some members of the waitstaff.

This experience has not occured during visits to other Lion & Rose locations. So far, the other 3 locations have provided overall positive dining experiences. I would highly recommend patronizing the Broadway, Sonterra, or Blanco locations instead of the Forum location.
