Spa. I have visited this Spa on several occasions. Very clean and wonderul people that work there. I had fantastic service and didnt have to wait more than 5 minutes. Every aspect was a great experience from the minute I walked in the door until the minute I left. I have been to several spa's before and this is one of the best. Very professional and comfortable... Hurry and go. Great asset to this side of town.
I had an interesting visit.. Well I have heard positive things in Boerne about this place and also negative things. I went in with an open mind because everyone will experience something different I'm sure. The building was very pretty but I did not enjoy my visit. When I arrived I went searching for the restroom and overheard an employee on their phone gossiping about the owner writing her own reviews about the place. From the experience that I had there I'm assuming that the positive reviews are false. I love spa's, but I, as well as my girlfriend had a service that was done very quickly. They seem eager to get you out of the door as soon as possible and I dont mean that in a good way. I think if they slowed down and showed more appreciation for the customer it would flow much better. Also, employees should not be gossiping while customers are there because it makes us uncomfortable and not want to go back. I didn't care to hear any of that, I wanted to relax. A spa should be peaceful. I get my nails done at the place off of Boerne stage road and it is not dirty at all. There is no need to speak negatively about your competitors. Post all the great things you want about how great you look or how many square feet you have. Just be sure to give the customer what they pay for when they come in. If the service was good then I wouldn't have mind paying that price. My drink was decent though. That took the edge off.
Best Place I Have Ever Been!!. I've been waiting for Linh Salon & Spa to open ever since I drove by the place on my way to work 2 years ago. Well, I guess they were right to say that good things come to those who wait. Let's just say that I was blown away by the style and substance of this salon the minute I walked through the custom wrought iron door. I was pleasantly greeted by a gorgeous receptionist, who could have doubled as a runway model, and the experience after was, in a word, devine. This will be my salon until the day I die. Hair coloring, facial, wax, manicure, pedicure, oh, where do I start? At first, I was a little intimidated by the upscale look of the place, because I thought the prices would be a lot higher than a typical salon's fees. I was very pleasantly surprised when everything was rung up because I paid no more than I did at the little place that I used to frequent next to the HEB on Boerne Stage Road. Ask for Linh, the business owner, who herself could pass for a fashion model, for a tour of the place. I've been in million-dollar house that don't look as good. I had my hair colored and nails done 2 weeks ago, and everything still looks as if I just stepped out of Linh's place yesterday. Guess what, Linh? I'll definitely be back!
Best Salon in San Antonio. I had been waiting for a high-end salon to open up in my neck of the woods, and let's just say, I was not disappointed! 4000 square-ft of the latest equipment and technology to make you beautiful! Other salons that I've frequented were usually less than half that size. I walked in for my first manicure & pedicure the first week that the place opened in mid-August, and I've been coming back every 2 weeks since. John does my manicures/pedicures, and he is just awesome. The new shellac finish left my nails gleaming like polished mirrors. The service and quality are first rate, and far beyond what I've experienced elsewhere. Up until now, the hair/nail salons have been small, dirty, dingy places, but this shop's interior is right out of a Las Vegas high-end hotel. Gorgeous, clean, immaculate. Linh, the owner, is a sweetheart and a beautiful girl to boot. I left feeling relaxed and pampered. I had to laugh when I read the previous negative review. Linh had told me that she had to fire a very rude and subordinate hairstylist on September 15, and that this individual had promised to get back at her by writing false negative reviews as she had done after her last job. Well, the timing of this bad "review" does seem awfully suspicious. Regarding "jaicee" and her complaint of Linh being expensive. Honey, if you can't afford $35 for a manicure and pedicure, maybe you just should do your own nails at home. Give Linh's salon a try and you'll see what I'm so excited about! Tell them Erica sent you. I would hate for such a nice place to get an undeserved bad reputation from a disgruntled employee. God knows I've had a few.
Too Rude Too Expensive Too Rushed. I couldn't wait to try this place because the anticipation of it opening was over the top. The salon sat there not opened for business for a very long time. When I went in for my appointment the first thing i noticed was that there were only two people there doing nails. That was a bad sign to me. After getting started with my pedicure someone immediately told the nail tech that his appointment had just shown up. Which means he took me as a walkin before his appointment and did not even care that he would be inconviencing his appointment that was only five minutes away. He went on to rush through my pedicure. I was uncomfortable the entire time because they made it known to me that this was going on. I mean, they tried to cover it up but it was so transparent. When I was done i noticed that two of my nails were painted poorly but i didnt complain because i just wanted out. When I was being rang up, the lady behind the desk suggested I make an appointment next time. She basically was implying that it was my fault that they were a mess and in a huge rush all over the place. She should have been happy that she was getting business however that was not the case. I'm assuming that she was the manager becuase she had been yelling at the employees since the moment I walked in. I felt that her comments to me were over the top and in poor taste...just simply unnecssary. My pedicure was done in less than 15 minutes and the polish was all over my toes. Poor Poor service. Those people have no idea how to run a business. I wont ever go back. The building was very pretty though.
