The Best of the BEST!!!
by Big Smile at Citysearch
My daughter loves Dr Amy Jackson
My daughter had her braces for 15 months start to end. I took her to see 2 other orthodontist and was told she needs to wear her braces for 24-28 months. I am so glad we went to South Texas Orthodontics. Dr Jackson told her she would have her braces off by High School and she did!! Suresmile is the way to go. My daughter has a beautiful smile. Dr Jackson's staff was wonderful always willing to help and explain what they were doing. I would like to thank South Texas Orthodontics and Amy Jackson for making the 15 months a great experience and I will be bring my husband in next. Run dont walk if you are in need of braces this is the place to go.
Unreliable
by Reliable or Unreliable at Citysearch
Talk about close calls, my daughter was mistakenly called back for another patient by the technician (April), who was to perform a procedure on another patient. The April rowdily called my daughter’s name for the procedure. My daughter would not go back with her because she was there to see another technician. It was a good thing that the receptionist at the front stated to this aggressive, strong personality technician that my daughter was not the patient, that it was another child, having the procedure done. The stand-in receptionist said that it was a boy and not a girl with similar first names. My daughter and I looked at one another and ever since than the April treated us like we had done something wrong and recommended that my child’s treatment be extended punishing her for realizing April’s mistake. Watch out, this facility is unpredictable and untrustworthy.
Avoid this anti-social orthodontist
by JustWarningYou at Citysearch
I strongly suggest avoiding this facility. The orthodontists here are only about getting the patient’s money and could care less about the patient. The staff is dogmatic to its patients. The staff believes that the patients are at the mercy and should not ask question. Once they have taken your money and the braces are in your child’s month, please beware! I should have realized when I saw to other patients return with complaints that I would soon have something to be concerned about. When patients are treated in this manner, it sends a message about the integrity of the organization.
