13 October 2011 - Mr. Charles (Mel) Melvin – I have had my air conditioning and heating units (two units) serviced at my home by two contractors that seemingly have great reputations within the city. Not having the technical expertise to access their rendered performance, I took the word of the technician at face value and concluded the resulting work to hve been completed satisfactorily. Preventative maintenance has been accomplished on a semiannual basis during the past two years.
Based upon a mailed advertisement, I decided to visit the shop of Converse A/C & Heating and personally view there work environment and speak with management. I set-up an appointment to have my units serviced which was scheduled for 13 Oct 11 at 10:00 am. Service technician was within my home timely at 10:00 am ready to perform the requested work. Prior to entering my home, he ensured to place booties over his shoes and was very conscientious of the surroundings within my home while doing his job. Service technician's name is Jimmy and truely performed a thorough and in-depth service. He even performed service that has never been accomplished by the technicians from the previous companies such as testing to ensure that the properly level of heating is coming from each vent as well as ensuring that there is no concern regarding carbon monoxide poisoning. Additionally, he took the time to ensure that each condenser was thoroughly washed or hosed and acted as if his company management had allotted sufficient time for him to ensure the rendering of proper service to my units. This washing/hosing action was never accomplished by the representatives from the other companies that serviced by units. As stated, the work performed was accomplished in a stupendous manner and the concluding cost was most reasonable. From this day forward, it is truly a no brainer for me as to whom shall accomplish the preventative maintenance service for my units; a tremendous thanks to the management/personnel of Converse A/C & Heating.
Highly Recommend! – After my neighbor recommended Converse, I decided to call to get a free estimate to replace my unit. The gentleman came to my home when he said he would, went over all my options and answered every question I had for him. He seemed very knowledgable and he knew exactly what he was talking about. My wife and I talked about it, not to mention got more quotes from other companies. Converse had the best qoute out of all 5 companies we dealt with. I decided to talk to my neighbor that recommended Converse and see what kind of work they put in her home. Come to find out Converse gave her a qoute and she decided to go with another company ....I thought this was strange seems she recommended Converse. She explained to me the other company did an awful job and they lied to her about her warranty and she made the comment that "she wished she would have went with Converse". All in all we decided to go with Rick davis and couldn't be more happier with our new unit and taking advantage of all the rebates! Thank you Converse for such a good well done, we will recommend you to all our friends and family!

He is very knowledgeable and curteous before, during, and after the installation. Expect he will pay close attention to every detail and he will deliver a high quality product in a timely manner. I had a maintenance done on my system for the first time. When I called to schedule my appointment the dispatcher was very friendly and happy to help with my questions. She was able to work around my schedule so that I would be able to meet the technichian at my house. Rick Davis is very knowledgeable and very professional, I will recommend his company to all of my family, friends and neighbors!

Great Service and Wonderful People – Converse Ac/Heating has been nothing more but kind to me and my family, and they go to the extreme measures to make sure we are taken care of. The customer service is wonderful, prices are wonderful, they are just one wonderful company all together. I recommend them to anyone who needs any kind of air conditioning services and wants the job done the proper way.

Stay Away From This Business! – These people were real nice and friendly at first. After my A/C unit died in my house, they convinced me I needed a new unit. Which is fine, what they said was probably true. However after spending over $8K with these people, which included a 10 year warranty, the first time something went wrong, they refused to come out. They told me that the tenants probably just did not change the filter. Apparently my tenants that are in the house made them mad by calling them. I cannot for sure say what was said between my tenants and the person who answered the phone, but it must of really upset the people at Converse A/C & Heating. When I called them, they were already upset and telling me that they are not going to honor my warranty. I then asked them why, and if I needed to get a lawyer involved. The person on the phone then told me to "go ahead and get one, we have a very good one". That to me, is just unacceptable. He then proceeded to yell at me and tell me that I should not be threatening him. I am not sure what he classifies as a threat, but that was not a threat. I then again ask him why my warranty is not being honored, he then tells me that any Trane dealer can honor it. Well, that is all I needed to here. Why did he not tell me that in the beginning, instead of making it sound like the warranty that I purchased was no good? After I ask him what he wants to do now, if he wants me to go somewhere else, he then tells me yes and that he is marking my account so nobody from his store will answer my phone calls, or ever do a service call to my address again. He then told me "good luck on finding someone to go out to my house", and then hung up on me. As a side note, my tenant also stated that he yelled at her and hung up on her also. I then called the 1-800 number for Trane, they told me that I can change my service provider to another local business on my warranty, but there was nothing they could to do that business. To me these people are way way out of line, what happened to the customer is always right? This experience has been unbelievable. I strongly urge everyone to stay away from this business.
