Many thanks to your staff... Matt has helped us a couple times. Don spent quite a bit of time with me last weekend. And today... Dennis (bless his patient little heart) spent loads of time with me and helped me pick out my new item! We left the store with several boxes... ;)

Wanted to take my father to Nagel's to get some ammo for his 380, I was able to walk in and find it, purchase it and walk out about a 10 minutes later. My Dad drives up about 200 miles to visit and I take him out there in the morning. We are there for an hour looking for help. Then David the counter guy said that he had no JHPs. I mentioned that he was standing in front of about 20 boxes of it. David told me that I could only buy it if I was purchasing a new gun? There was a printed sign that clearly said that there was a 1 box limit unless you were purchasing a new gun. I asked him how many new 380s he had in stock? He said 4. I left and called later to talk to the "boss." I was on hold for 20 minutes and never got anyone "in charge." Called back a few minutes before to ask if they had any JHPs in stock Tommy said that they had about 20 boxes, but I could only buy 1 and they were about 40 bucks. I asked him why David wouldn't sell them to me and he ignored the question and just repeated that he had them in stock. I would avoid this place at all cost.

Horrible Place! I will never be back. I have bought 5 guns at this place over the years and they have lost a customer for life. Customer service is very poor. Always has been, so that's nothing new. They are ammo price gouging in the middle of a nationwide shortage. $50 for a brick (550 rounds) of 22 LR. Get Real. Had a bad experience a few weeks ago while they were doing inventory. They wouldn't even answer a question, yet let another guy in the store to go shopping. Avoid this place like the plague!

I guess I am what one would call an Avid Nagel's shopper. I am from Cotulla and I try to go to San Antonio at least twice a month. The best part of visiting San Antonio is going to Nagelss and dealing on pistols and guns. I am a retired educator and gun enthusiast. The customer service that I receive from Ron, Todd, Jessie and Dennis is great. I really appreciate their attentiveness and their salesmanship.

Staff is great, If one does not have an answer to your question another staff member does. Nagel's is THE best fun store in San Antonio, bar none
