Rude Employee(s). I called to ask if they were hiring drivers and the morning person did not even know anything and said to call back. I called back and the woman, I think carrolline or something was rude to me and acted like I was bothering her. Learn some manners, especially in a new business in a location that had a previously FAILED pizza place!! I will NEVER eat there, i'm sure they are even more rude in person!

You are gonna love it!. In the short time they have been open I have been back three times. Service is prompt, attentive and friendly. Every time I have been greeted by one or both of the owners. The atmosphere is clean, casual and fun. Check out the alien mural in the main dining room; you can identify the owners in the ET caricatures. The food is definitely superior, and you can tell that there is a lot of pride and attention to detail. So far I have tried: Wings, spicy, not breaded, served hot with either ranch or blue cheese. Bottle Caps (Deep fried jalepeno disks) which are yummy, but not too "pica." The fried mushrooms... oh, the fried mushrooms! They are huge! Too big to eat in one bite, but the house recipie coating stays on even if you cut the shroom with a knife. They are my favorite appetize so far, and I REALLY like the wings! The pizza is fantastic; buttery crust, ample cheese, generous toppings. Yesterday I ordered the calzone for 8 bucks. This dish could easily serve 3 people! LOVE IT!

GREAT!!!. We were excited to see it open, and it didn't fail our expectations! It's obviously a family business. The owners come out to talk to the guests contantly. The food is awesome! They're really big plates. We always have leftovers to bring home. We've been there with a huge party, and with just 2 of us. Each time it's been a great experience where different people come to our table making sure we have everything we need. Great family place with great food for cheap price.

Great Food & Service!!!!!!!!. This place is Great! The food is absolutely "out of this world" I loved the flavor of their crust & sauces. I lived in New York for 14 years & this reminds me of home. The place is very nice and the service is wonderful.

Awesome Overall!!!. Where to start!? When we walked in we were immediately greeted by near-by employees. We got a table and the staff gave out positive vibes and very charismatic. Our waiter accomodated us to the best. The food is really out of this world. You can taste the uniqueness of the pizza. i ordered the solar meat pizza, which is super amazing! Appetizers came out quickly and the salads tasted fresh. Even the owner came around and about asking us for our opinions and making sure we were satisfied. You can feel the family oriented vibe and I will definately go back for more

Best Place in SA hands down Amazing!. Me and my family live around the neighborhood and love pizza! We kept seeing the sign "MAAR's Pizza Coming Soon" and were so anxious to try it....finally it opened!!! Boy was it amazing!!! the pizza is the best I have ever tried! Even the home battered fried mushrooms!!!!! everything is homemade and the atmosphere is unique!! I love love loved it!!! The customer service was outstanding and you can tell the family that owns it deffinatley takes pride in what they do! I will be back there almost every week and I am going to deffinattely spread the word! MUST try best in San Antonio hands down!!!! They have not even been open a week and the impression and food is literally "out of this world"
