I went yesterday with a group of
girlfriends for brunch - the food was amazing, the mimosas kept coming (delicious) and our server, Andy, was awesome. He didn't seem too busy but made sure not to take that time to chill, but he made sure we were ok throughout our stay - which was about 2.5 hours. I do think it would be wise for them to add a few more "regular" items to the menu, but for me, being one to love trying different foods, everything on the menu looked delicious! I will definitely be back!
I ordered a Groupon for this
restaurant, and was planning on using it this past Saturday. I made a reservation for 12/8/2012 at 8pm, over a week ago. When I get to the restaurant, there's a sign on the door that says "If you are trying to use a Groupon, these are the dates that we are allowing customers to use their Groupon." It then listed two date ranges, neither one included Fridays or Saturdays. I walk into the restaurant, and I am told that "Oh well, you can just come back tomorrow night and use the Groupon". Excuse me, but I made a reservation for that night, and no where on Groupon's website, Auden's Kitchen's website, or the online reservation website did it say anything about not being able to use a Groupon. As we are standing by the front door, the manager comes over to listen to the conversation we are having with the hostess, and basically tells us the same thing, "oh well that's our policy, just come back another time and use your groupon." It's not about using the full amount of the groupon vs. the face value of the groupon, it's about customer service. When we tried to call the restaurant on Monday 12/10/2012 to speak to the manager about this issue, they refused to take our calls.
