It may lack the character and beauty of the River Walk hotels, but this budget motel offers the same great location. It is just five blocks from The Alamo and the river. Guests can hop on a trolley or via bus for cheap and easy transport to the city's top tourist attractions.

This well-situated facility offers many of the amenities of its higher-priced brethren. Guests enjoy complimentary hot breakfast daily and "USA Today" on weekdays. Free also applies to in-room coffee and parking. The latter is a real bonus in an area where most hotels charge to harbor your car. Families can request rollaway beds for a small fee. Pet rooms are available to travelers with dogs.
