Impolite & plain rude service from the
employee Molly... I usually never am so bothered to take the time out and give bad reviews to businesses, but I was just extremely shocked at the lack of respect when I showed up for my second day of tanning. It was 30 minutes before close & the door was already locked, when Molly came to the door she said sorry we're closed... & I pointed out that the hours said they didn't close for another 30... Her response was "Yeah, but it's like showing up to a restaurant 5 minutes before closing and expecting them to serve you.... it's just rude." Then she proceeded to suggest I cancel my service because I told her that response was uncalled for. So, gladly I did. She didn't give me my full refund of course. Charged me for the full cost of the tan lotion I bought (even though it was 30% off when I bought it... so.. lost another $6 there, and she shorted me $2) I didn't care though. It wasn't so much the money but the principle. At least I won't have to be treated that way again.
P.S. There is not ONE sign that says tanning stops 30 min before close. Apparently the BUSINESS HOURS posted on the front door... means nothing. Such a joke.
A tip for Toucan Tan....
If you plan to be successful as a small business, customer service is key to keeping returning customers. You might want to hire employees who don't disrespect your customers. I guess I was "rude" to decide to tan with them. SO SO SORRY. Don't worry, you lost my business & will share with friends/family who live in this area.
