Avoid this place like the plague

To start off I made my reservation for a room with a King bed and when I got to the room it had two double beds, so I called down to the front desk and they pretty much told me I was a liar and that the room they gave me was what I booked. The room itself smelled like they used 3 gallons of Lysol to try and drown out the sent of mold and mildew. It was extremely disgusting. The room they gave us was right across from the outdoor 7th floor pool. All we heard was kids screaming and yelling up till 10pm. The cost of the room was high enough and then they charge you $14 to park on top of that. I frequent Holiday Inn hotels and this was by far the worst one I have ever stayed at and will never stay there again. Oh yeah try and get from your room to the parking garage to get your car. You have to go all the way down to the lobby and change elevators to get to the parking garage. If I didn't have to give it a star to put this up I wouldn't!!!!!
- Pros: The only one is location
- Cons: EVERYTHING ELSE!!!!!
For more than 50 years, this hotel's familiar green sign has signaled budget-friendly lodging for families and business travelers.

In Short
Since its 1952 debut in Memphis, Tenn., Holiday Inn has become one of the most recognized hotel brands in the world. Kids rule here: Children age 19 and younger stay for free when sharing a parent's room and as many as four children per family (age 12 or younger) eat for free at hotel restaurants. Other amenities include 24-hour business services, an in-room coffeemaker, iron, hair dryer, room service, a swimming pool and a fitness center.
Hospitality is not our forte

The rooms were old and dated, the view is of abandoned buildings, the service was, well there was no service. The ONLY good thing is that it is in a wonderful location. We were charged for the rooms on our credit card twice and it has been 30 days and they still haven't credited us back our money. Stay away from this hotel......... or you will pay.....TWICE!
- Pros: Great Location
- Cons: Expensive Parking, No Service, Rude Employees
