Fast Food Taste. We were so disappointed! We ate here (the one in Alamo Heights) on 11/21/07... I can't say the food was terrible, but it was not what we expected. If you like places like Olive Garden, with a more romantic atmosphere, this is the place to go. If you just want some great Italian food, keep looking! I really think the sauce was from a can. Great comfort food. Great atmosphere, if a bit loud. The wait staff is friendly and accomodating. Entree`s are HUGE. definately a bring a friend or take a doggie bag.
Grapevine. When looking for great Italian food in SA, people have told me to try Cafe Milano. I did. The food tasted like they opened up a can & poured the sauce on some egg noodles. Really a let down. Nothing, nothing special about this place!…
Don't go!. Although the service was quick and friendly; the food was bland and tasteless.
Lousy. As simply as possible , do not go there. The food is mediocre at best and if the owner/manager can be rude and annoying, they will.
