Kind of Isolated, but okay.
It's called the Rodeway Inn "Downtown," which is slightly misleading ... it's just outside I-35 on the north, but a downtown trolley DOES stop there, so getting around downtown is fairly easy.
Otherwise,it's a bit isolated from the downtwon scene, which might be preferable. My room was clean and confortable, with a micro and a small fridge and a recliner. There's supposed to be a continental breakfast, but I didn't have time to try it out. The restaurant next door is supposed to have great Southern food, but I wouldn't know because they're closed from 7 p.m. Friday and all Saturday ... as demanded by GOD (not kidding, there's a sign on the front window quoting the Bible). Fortunately there's plenty of restaurants around close by.…
