Guest Gets Locked In Bathroom.
I stayed at this Super 8 recently and locked the bathroom door while I was taking a shower. When I finished my shower, I could not get out of the bathroom. The lock on the bathroom door would not
release. I was staying at this motel by myself, so no one knew that I was locked in the bathroom. And I did not take my cell phone into the bathroom, so I could not call for help. After 30 minutes of twisting, jerking and pulling vigorously on the doorknob, I was able to break-off the doorknob and take apart the lock mechanisms inside the door...and ultimately get out of there!
The next morning I handed the front desk clerk all of the doorknob parts in an ice bucket, and said that I would like a refund for last night's stay. He said that I would need to call back when the manager was there.…
