Horrible Customer Service

First time customer, and not a returning customer. Delivery took TWO HOURS and order was not even complete. Pizza was cold and the bread sticks and marinara sauce missing. I am still waiting to be refunded for my bread sticks or for them to be delivered..I don't know, whichever they decide to do first or morally right. Also, management told me, because of delayed delivery, half the charge would be refunded, still waiting for that, furthermore a member of management will not come to the phone, I've spoken to the sales person (Priscilla) twice, and the customer service level just deteriorated more and more after each time. I don't think that if I had called and ordered bread sticks w/sauce and told them, "but I don't have money for them" that they would have been delivered, so why is it OK, that I've paid for them but they think it's OK to not delivered them...The amount is insignificant, the money is not the point, but this is a business, and I feel they have stolen from me.

Great Deep-dish Pizza, piss-poor customer service

Wow... the pizza was great, but the service was abyssmal. We arrived with only two patrons there and waited for most of our lunch hour for the pizza to arrive. There is no customer service... whatsoever. You must leave your table and come to the register to get any service. Just a word of advice: CALL AHEAD OF TIME AND PLACE YOUR ORDER! Better to do takeout than stare out the holes in the ceiling or wish you could play on the disconnected video games. Also, if you do dine-in, be warned that the staff prefers Spanish television shows.

Awesome pizza, HORRIBLE service. takeaway recommended

The chicago pizza here is awesome, but the service is the worst I've ever had. I don't ask for much just remember to bring anything I ordered!! She forgot our drinks, forgot our salad, tried to give our pizza to another table, then gives us ranch with a greek salad and acts angry when we ask for italian. tells us "remind me when you leave for the money back for the salad". ?? we just want what we ordered! we were sitting right in front of the register, and the whole time she is complaining on the phone about how busy she is and how she has to do everything. there are three tables occupied in the place (and quite a few are dirty) and one has already eaten. the phone is not ringing. this one definitely fell through the cracks of the public school system...

• Pros: lunch specials a steal, pizza amazing
• Cons: worst service ever

best 5 dollar pizza

Sure beats Pizza Patron. Any one topping large pizza for 5 dollars is great!

Customer service is a "eh", but the pizza and deep dish is awesome. I prefer take-out.

• Pros: good, delicious oven style pizza that's cheap/ they have a kid's zone for playing
• Cons: decor & service is "eh"

horrible service

i went in ordered pizza and it took around an 2 hours to make it and there was no one in the restaurant and the pizza was nasty it had no pizza sauce, just cheese and bread ... thats what it tasted like and the waiter charged me double even if i had only one bite.

Poor customer service on two visits, lacks ambiance, good pizza

1st visit: Drove up and the place was empty. Went in and sat next to the TV hoping to catch the game. Instead, the TV was on a Spanish only channel...fine but we don't speak Spanish. Asked if they'd let us watch the game and the waitress said no, the guys in the back were watching. Wow! I've never been to a place where the employees put their own interests before the customers (at least not so blatently). Food took FOREVER! Received it and it was GREAT FOOD. Would we go back? Well, we decided we'd never dine in again, but may take out because we liked the pizza.

2nd visit: Called in order. Saw an ad for 19.95 deal in Express News. Woman who answered the phone acted like we were crazy for requesting that deal. She was very short and discourteous. Acted like we were a burden for placing an order with them. Told us about 30-45 mins, took 1hr.

Won't go back.

Different & Delicious!

As a transplant from NYC, I've eaten my fair share (and probably your share, too) of pizza. But up until last night, I'd never had Chicago-style pizza - and boy was I missing out! We dined at Chicago's Pizza and they serve up a phenomenal pie! The crust is flaky yet sturdy, and the sauce is fresh and flavorful. It was so good we ate way past the point of fullness, but it was gut-bustingly good!

The only downside is that it takes a while to cook those perfect pies. The solution? Order an appetizer - the mozzarella sticks have a delightfully crunchy crust (but the cheese gets tough when they cool so eat quickly!). The bread sticks are crisp and garlicky on the outside and the insides are soft and tender - doubly good sprinkled with parmesan cheese!

We couldn't find the room for dessert, but they've got that covered as well. Brownies & ice cream, cinnamon sticks with cream cheese dip, pineapple pizza & more. Maybe next time - and there WILL be a next time!

Just Like Home (almost)

I stopped to try the Deep Dish pie the other night. I have to say, in my many travels it's hard to find a good "Chicago" pizza. Many make the claim, but most fall short. Chicago's Pizza has done it right. The sauce is terrific and the crust, while crisp, is flakey and easily cut with a fork. I grew up in Chicago and have missed the pizza for years. I'll definitely be back to this fine establishment. I can't wait the try the thin crust next. If you're into hand-tossed crust ( Like Dominos) they have that too. A++

Different

the pizza is nothing like you get from any commercial resaurant. It's thick and packed with what ever you want. The crust I believe is made from Corn Meal and the sauce is on top. The pie can usually be 1 inch thick and delicious.

Chicago's Pizza is the best pizza I have ever tasted. It's corn meal crust and toppings of it's deep dish will satisfy anyone. I dare you to eat more than a couple slices.
