1st time with VC & this exp. was enough for me to never return.

My apt was @9:30am & I arrived 5 minutes b4.Doors were locked but you could see the stylists inside getting ready for their busy day. A VC employee finally unlocks the door at 9:35 & to my surprise (& the other two clients waiting along side of me)she had a frown on her face as if she were bothered by us for waiting there. She didn't give any eye-contact nor did she speak a single word of acknowledgement to any one of us. One of the other clients made a comment stating that she didn?t realize how rude the staff at VC was-apparently it was her 1st time there & I?m sure her last.

I was finally called upon to meet with the color specialist (Level 4 MELISSA), she conducted herself just like the majority of the staff there, very unwelcoming.I understand we all have bad days but this was the attitude of just about every employee & trust me when I state that all customers took notice to this.Once the hair coloring process began, she spent more time looking around the salon than to what she was doing so I assume this is WHY she ?accidentally? allowed coloring to drip off the brush & into my eye. Now I understand this was not going to be life threatening nor permanent damage to my eye-sight, however she composed herself in a way that I couldn?t understand for someone who is getting paid for a service & then does that. My eye was burning, red and constantly tearing up for the rest of my apt time. She did not apologize right away which I found to be extremely odd. Even when I was under the dryer, several other hair dressers would walk by & look over at me, since after all-I did have those EYE-catching physical characteristics going on at that moment & yet not 1 employee offered to give me a tissue or towel or asked if I was okay.

I had originally scheduled both color & cut but after that incident, I was done.I would strongly discourage anyone from getting their hair done at any of the Visible Changes.

• Pros: Nice facility
• Cons: Service was dreadful, employees make you feel like you are bothering them.

well they have meetings every saturday thats why they tell you right at 9:30 im a long time client

Sara at North Star Mall is Great

Sara is very attentive and honest. She takes her time and is skilled at cutting hair. I have tons of cowlicks and she works around them. She's very personable, gives me great style advice and she's not pushy.

• Pros: Friendly Staff, clean salon
• Cons: Overpriced, Big Biz tactics Stink for both stylist & client

Tina is the Best

I have been going to Tina for years to get my hair colored. She ALWAYS gives me the color I want and exceeds my expectations. In my opinion she is the best one there, glad that she returned to the salon after having her baby. I would be lost without her.

If you want great color and great input.. SEE TINA!

Worst haircut experience

Spotted the new shop at LaCantera and thought they looked like they knew what they were doing. My appointment was supposed to be for a Master stylist and someone that knew how to cut curly hair. Well what I got was a begining stylist with no experiance with curly hair and I didn't realize this until halfway through the haircut. Finely after 3 trys an extra inch of hair and 45 minutes later, the haircut was completed. I do not like the fact that the stylist never sees your hair dry, only after someone else washes it. I said something at the front desk when I was leaving and the only response I received was did I want to leave a tip..Looks classy, not so.. Someone needs to get in there and work on there customer service..

Prissy @ La Cantera

Prissy has cut and styled hair for our lil family of 3 for 3 years now. Her attention to detail is impecable. Shes not only our hair stylist but a good friend of ours. I wouldn't dare go anywhere else. Visible Changes has a clean and comfortable atmosphere. If your looking for a new du.. or someone who will truly work magic or make you look amazing ask for Prissy. She has true talent and skill... She knows hair and will work her talents for your hair and looks. Just when I think we give her the hardest looks she pulls it off better than what we ask for. Thanks Prissy.

Jamie at La Cantera

I have been going to Jamie for years. When she moved from North Star Mall to the new location....even though it's further for me to drive..I'm still going to her. She does my hair BETTER than anyone I've ever gone to. She colors and cuts my hair. It's great having a stylist that does both.

I get compliments all the time about my hair and always send them to the best! Jamie @ La Cantera!

Gabriel!

I, Like the other reviewers, have been looking for a hairdresser for a long time. I was recently engaged when I first came to gabriel. He listened very carefully to what I wanted and has helped me grow out my hair longer than I imagined! I have already done my portraits and my hair stayed impecaple the whole day through. I would highly reccomend gabriel to everyone, because he not only knows hair but he is very personable and its never a dull moment with him! ! !

Gabriel = Outstanding Results!

I am very particular about my hair, no one ever seems to get it right. That is until I visited Visible Changes and got a cut and color from Gabriel. It was absolutely fabulous! He listened very carefully to what I wanted, gave me some suggestions, and executed exactly what we talked about. I got very natural blonde highlights and an awesome haircut. Overall I highly reccomend him as a stylist and will continue to go there myself. Gabriel really out does himself. Go see for yourself.*****Gabriel the time I spent there was very well worth it. I am happy to report that my husband loved it and was just as pleased as I was. :)

MELISSA AT LA CANTERA

I've been getting highlights and color with Melissa for awhile now...and my highlights/color are the best I have ever had and it's all due to Melissa's expertise on hair! I get so many compliments on my hair - I would highly recommend Melissa at the La Cantera Salon to anyone who wants beautiful highlights or color! She is the best in town!!!
