I had an appointment for my trial pictures and everything came out beautiful. The day of my wedding the stylist were all on time , and everything went according as planned.i noticed there was a bad review stating there appointment was not on the book, and maybe it's because there appointment needed to be reserved.Now I'm a regular client for color and cut and I've gained a trust to put my hair in any of the stylists hands.

Pros: THERE VERY HELPFUL

Cons: NONE

The Pros: the staff were all VERY nice. They seemed to have good quality styling skills//training, (but nothing special or trendy) Average price. The Cons: The stylist kept stopping during my cut to talk to sales reps, I didn't feel like she really understood my concerns and questions and the bathroom was horribly dirty (moldy black stuff in the toliet) Not a horrible experience, but I won't be returning.

Pros: Polite staff

Cons: Dirty bathroom, cluttered stations, stylist didn't really seem to "care" about my concerns

i have been to many salons here in san antonio and I have found my salon, this place is so comfortable and beautiful they don't make you feel like you have to have lots of money to come to this salon, i had a saturday appointment with pricilla and jeanne they did such a wonderful job on my hair and makeup, and I didn't spend $200 like most salons ... I will be returning, its great!!

I recently stopped in @ Marcel Salon and got the best hair cut in San Antonio. The staff was extremely nice and welcomed me as soon as I opened the door. I loved the decor and atmosphere. I felt as if I was at home while they were styling my hair. I also found that they have a Facial/Detox specialists with the name of Forever Bella located inside the Salon. I was very surprised at the vast information I was given including the prices that are much lower than her competitors. I encourage everyone to visit Marcel Salon and Forever Bella.

i went to this salon a few weeks ago, with my wedding party.. Priscilla did such a beautiful job on my hair and all the other stylist that were so helpful and great too, it was awesome , i would recomend the salon to all the brides.

Pros: fit all my girls in last minute manicures and eyebrow waxing

Most of the hair dressers are great, but be careful if you are on the plump sides, there is one hairdresser who may feel compelled to tell you that you that you are heavy. If that doesn't offend you, then this is a great salon!

Pros: nice salon, decorated nicely

Cons: you may be judged on your size

"MARCEL SALON" "All of my life, I have had a love/hate relationship with my curls. I was so fed up with my hair that I was ready to try the Japanese Thermal Straightening that is so popular right now... until I let Karen do my hair. Karen has fine, naturally curly hair. She is also Creole and black, so she can do various ethnicities. Being biracial myself, I always had trouble finding someone who could relate to my hair type. Karen is also from California and has had the benefit of West Coast training that may be otherwise be hard to find in San Antonio. She is very caring and takes her time, listening to your concerns. She never "over-chops" your hair like most places I have been to. She always explains what she is doing before she cuts or conditions your hair a certain way. Be sure to look her up, you'll be glad you did!! ""

Pros: The Salon has a very comfortable atmosphere

Diana has over 30 years of experience in providing hair care. She will do anything to make me happy. She is always working because her heart truly cares for her clients. She can do any type of hair extensions. The best part is that she does not charge as much as other salons in the community. Her staff is just as talented. They listen to their clients needs and does their very best to please each and every one. One of my favorite parts, is that after a long day, they offer wine, cokes, coffee, and water so that I can relax. Oh, and by the way, Jesse is the only one who can get rid of my headaches with his talented massages. Hanah and Priscilla are the best at the hair updoos and bridal make overs. The boutique is also great for a last min. gift.

Pros: hospitable, friendly, no pressure
